I bought this due to the cost of living and thought i would give it a go family of 4 one older college and working at a fast food place and one in school one working with little kids one working in a foundry type place! so as you can imagine lots of different smells and dirtiness( is that a word??) of clothing.I am really quiet impressed so far i have tried with a just a conditioner and with those in decent wash things and conditioner haven’t tried with no conditioner yet but will !so it definitely cleans your wash! not had really dirty stuff as yet but normal it cleans! i bought without scent as wasn’t sure what it would smell like and as i said i put conditioner with it ! if using in scent stuff only use a very small amount as can be very over powering!All in all i will keep using the egg and ditch my washing powder ( i could only use certain brands as allergic) so i think that says it allI was a sceptic now i’m not !!! works out cheaper than my washing powder and you can say your helping the environment a little!

I am happy with my purchase, but disappointed that the amount of pellets and presumed washes are well reduced from the first egg I bought about 5 years ago, which I am still using, likely another 6 months maybe longer life in it. I do between 1 and 3 washes a week, so the savings I have made over this time is phenomenal.

Used the egg yesterday , I am very pleased with the results, will be using this EGG from now on and would recommend it to anyone, as your not going to have buildup in your washing machine

I’ve been using this for about 6 weeks, the clothes are really clean and smell lovely. I have four children, who are involved in sport and I have really tested the egg. I’m really happy with it.

I have used this for 57 washes now and have found that it does get the laundry relatively clean. However some stains still persist and I have noticed that our white sheets have developed a grey tinge. We do live in a hard water area so I suppose that gives the eco ball an extra challenge. I am pleased it has no heavy washing powder smell and the washing always has a soft feel to it when dry. It is certainly very economical and environmentally friendly which is so important now. I would recommend using soap first on areas of heavy soiling, not the liquid soap, this seems to do the trick. I bought this item primarily for its cost effectiveness and also for sensitive skin.A few more weeks down the line and I have completed 72 washes. Alas, the washing has become increasingly dingy and on our work clothes, they are very grubby. I regretably have had to return to soap powder. What have I done wrong, I have reduced the load, soaked certain items and used stain remover. All to no avail I fear. I wonder if there are other customers who have had the same problem.

So far all is good washing is clean no scented smell it will interesting to see if the needs last for 210 washes but I'm counting sofar so vood
