EKO TV Box 4K Ultra HD, Android TV, Streaming Media Player Google Assistant Built-in & with Google Play Store

I bought one of these from my local department store in Australia in 2021. Before that, I had purchased 9 similar streaming devices to set up for family.I didn't know what to expect from this new Android TV device, because there was no information on the box about the hardware or the remote at all. Because it had Hey Google and Android TV, Netflix, Chromecast and YouTube, it had to be worth a shot. $100 au, the same price we pay for the other devices. When I plugged it in to the TV, including the power, because it was optional, it booted up, I paired the remote, Bluetooth, I hoped it would be. I skipped signing into Google, connected to WiFi, and checked for firmware updates. Then I signed into Google to go to the Play Store for updates and a couple of apps. I don't need to stay signed in if I don't want to. It allowed me to disable any apps I wanted, and little to no bloatware to be seen. This thing is great. I purchased 6 more, and a salesman I know, transferred 8 more from other stores for me. They still haven't returned to the stores here yet, but I purchased 2 from Amazon in Germany, and 2 from America. All 4 to my door for the same price I paid at home. What's more to ask for? Fully certified so Netflix works plus you have the Google assistant to help when needed. It comes with a super sweet remote which you will easily have a feel for it.This device runs smooth and i haven't experienced any lag.The price is what makes this a winner. Have you seen the price of shield?Note to the engineers: please add to the settings easier the ability to program the remote to television for power on/off and volume +/-Only downfall which is an issue with all certified devices is the typical limited Google play store so you have to sideload any apps not found in store.Best regards

Bought this for an older Panasonic TV with a woefully outdated smart system, and to replace the generic non Netflix-certified streaming box from my cable provider. The EKO 4K is Netflix certified, so it runs that as well as HBO Max and my provider's app with no problem, while also allowing me to clear some clutter since it plugs into the back of the TV and is powered via USB. It's about as good as a Shield I have on my main TV, though some app menus are slightly laggy in comparison. And of course, it's small enough to carry with you when traveling to use wherever you are. The only question at this point is longevity and whether this will eventually be updated from Android TV 10 to 11 (or even 12), but even my Shield was only recently updated to 11. So, we'll see. But so far, very pleased with this purchase.

No HDR. It doesn't go off completely. It's stay on. Not good quality pictures

This does not have a USB port. Remote control is fairly responsive but left right and center buttons could be spaced a little further apart. The unit does not shut down, it only goes to sleep. The audio is very loud at it's lowest point. The Dynalink box works perfectly, best box for the money and it is $10.00 less

It was a great addition for my non-streaming television. Works perfectly. Only wish other types of apps could be installed.

We used the device on our trip to an Airbnb and it worked great. Looking forward to using it again on my next trip.

Buena compra, lo compre porque apesar de tener un smart tv, pues no me dejaba instalar otras apps, este aparato te lo permite y tiene buena resolución, solo deben tener en cuenta que al usarlo entra en conflicto con las aplicaciones de la TV, pero sirve muy bien

It was perfect for a week, and then suddenly stopped working. I've reached out to the company, we'll see what they have to say about it.
