I spoke to the lady that worked there and she said the US. Not sure which state.

I'm not sure. It says birch in the description. It's really sturdy. My 12 year old son put it together with a little help on some sections. I wish it came with the board that surrounds machine for table top level. Boards are pricy so My husband is going to make mine. Overall happy I bought it.
