I ordered this iShanCare wound care ointment before, and my wife and I were very impressed with how quickly and how well this ointment worked on a burn my wife had on her forearm. This ointment is currently marked down to $9.99 (I have seen it as high as $29.99), so I decided I definitely wanted more of it to keep in our first aid kit. This ointment comes in a small 0.53 oz (15g) tube, but it's very powerful and it doesn't take very much of it to treat a burn, cut, or scrape. The active ingredient in this ointment is calendula. The inactive ingredients are bees wax, linoleic acid, propolis (a resin-like material made by bees), sesame oil, and a combination of all-natural Chinese herbs. I have tried calendula by itself on wounds and burns before, and it doesn't work nearly as good as this ointment, so the addition of these inactive ingredients definitely makes a difference in the healing ability. I am glad I ordered more of this ointment, and I definitely appreciate the savings compared to the former price.

Typically I just use Neosporin but I'll try new things. I had a chunk out of my finger and after only 1 and and 1/2 days it's nearly healed. Way better.If I were to complain about anything is that too much comes out at once. It needs a smaller opening to reduce waste.So I can totally recommend this.

This stuff is amazing! I haven't had to use it on major sores like shown on the included flyer inside the box, but for what I have used it on it works fast and very well. One of my daughters has very sensitive and delicate skin and is always getting some kind of rash, which always seem to be resistant to healing, so when I saw this product I ordered it (I've tried dozens of products and the ones with natural ingredients as the active ones end up working the best). Worked great on a pop up rash that went away within hours. So happy with that result.Then my daughter missed a step coming down some outside stairs and hit her face hard and scraped the skin off on the edge of the concrete walkway. Ouch!! (And yes she was okay except for the scrapes and horrible bruising). So I applied this ointment to the scrapes and used Arnica Montana cream on the bruising (as well as ice packs for the first two days). Both products work amazing! iShanCare helped her skin heal amazingly fast (this would have normally taken at least two weeks to get to this point, but only took 7 days). And the Arnica cream worked amazing on speeding up the healing of those awful bruises! (I've used Arnica products for years because they work so well).

The first thing I need to mention - this is not a cream. That's a bad description. A cream is usually water based and rubs in cleanly. This is an ointment, similar in consistency to your typical topical wound care.This stuff does it's job. It doesn't beat similar products in that regard, but it does help you heal faster than nothing at all.The smell is bizarre. It smells like slightly burnt cooking oil that was used to fry chicken. If you've worked in a restaurant, it smells like the fry station.If you can get this cheaper than the name brand, it might be worth trying.
