As good as David White or better
I have used a David White 2x lock level for well over 15 years. When I busted my last one and needed a replacement, I wanted to shop around, and found this one for much less than half the price. For $60, I figured it was worth a shot. I love this new level so much I already bought another one for my helper to carry. It is extremely well made, and works as good or better than the David White.

Fell apart on second use
It's junk. Kept in case in truck second time going to use it the level inside it came unglued and is just rolling around inside. Wil be returning.

Simple yet versatile tool
Very pleased with my purchase. Obviously great for levelling, but don't pass up the distance measuring ability using stadia. I do stream restoration work in which minimizing the amount of wading around is important. This one tool makes it efficient to get elevations and distances using stadia with minimal set ups and is much less finicky than laser rangefinders costing hundreds more.
