Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 7: City Fall Part 2

I am a huge TMNT fan, and have been since its inception in the early 80s. I was skeptical when Nickelodeon purchased the franchise and when IDW announced the comics. So far I have read every issue and I absolutely love it! It is a great mix of Mirage and the animated shows. It is darker than what I first imagined, which is what I love. So far in the entire run I found the City Fall run the most entertaining. It has a Mirage "City At War" feel. I assume if you are reading this you have read the previous issues so this should be a no brainer!

Ok so this installment of city fall part 2 is really really good it touches on all aspects of a comic! It has so much action and the art is spot on! I like how all the turtles look,they did a good job with the art..and there's this one partf where one of the Turtles is meditating but while he's meditating he's dreaming of his mother and that conversation they have is really heartfelt it's really really touching.such a great book!! And they bring in some new threats! Oh yea and old hob is in it to.

City Fall concludes, and it is quite a grand finale, I might add. Lots of fighting scenes, lots of action, lots of dramatic entrances. In my opinion, this is a fine successor to the classic "City at war" arc, even though in the original there was an internal tension, inspired by real political events of that time. I kinda liked it in the old comic, buy maybe it's even for the best, turtles belong in their own world. Northampton will be less action-packed, but "City Fall" makes both turtles and readers need some rest.

In order to stop Shredder and to save one of their own, Splinter and his sons seek help from friends and former foes. In the end, family is the strongest bond that can overcome any evil. This is the best TMNT book that I have ever read!

Wow, TMNT continues to impress each and every time a trade comes out. This series is amazing and finds great ways to challenge the cast with new and old threats. Tom Waltz has created a unique and sometimes nostalgic world that I can't wait to jump into every couple of months.

If you want to enjoy the new TMNT movie that's being released 8-8-14, then do not start reading the comic's. They are so good, the movie will suck even more than it already does. Thanks Michael Bay!! IDW keep up the great work.

I have to say I wasn't the biggest fan of the artwork in this one but the story is really amazing. A lot of twists and it is just told so well. I really couldn't put it down.

Another fantastic collection with a great story and great action. The Raph and Leo dialogue in the last issue was great. My only issue is the distracting art; I find the design of the turtles off putting. They don’t look like the hard ninjas they were in earlier issues and look more like cute kids but that is just my personal feeling toward the art (which on the whole is good, but getting the turtles wrong in a turtles comic is a problem for me). Must read of you are a fan of the turtles (although start at vol. 1.
