ONLY CHOICE FOR FOLD 3
I have tried and returned many. This is absolutely the best you can get.1. The hinge sits flush and helps keep the front left side straight!! Too many front face left sides bend inwards blocking some of screen.2. The front face is perfect amount of rise. Even the tough Armour spigen beneath this model has issues with 1 and 2. Also the other spigen model front protector is raised too high and prevents you from properly using the screen touch areas around perimeter. This particular unit does not.2a. The front face in this unit not only not raised too much it's also rounded and comfortable on fingers! The lower spigen model, tough armor , is triangular and hurts your fingers (while covering perimeter of screen and left side bent inward)3. A front screen protector does not prevent proper fit. I inspected harshly and perhaps it has a 2% misfit due to the front protecting glass you buy separately. The hinge still sits closed and is flush with the back part of phone (maybe 0.2 mm off, nothing to even worry about)4. It open and closes fine without a extra "effort". The other spigen case had a sliding fabric that you had to manipulate to stay inside case when opening. Not this unit. This unit does have hard plastic as hing protector. It also has great spring resistance to keep it shut.5. Feels great in my hand. I can one thumb swype type u like note 20 ultra. (It's weird but that's the main reason I got fold 3. Narrow main screen. It can open for movies when I'm not being productive, great note replacement)6. Speaking of note phone. I do not have S pen for fold 3 so I didn't care about s pen holder. This may be the drawback for s pen users. (I didn't use s pen on note anyways, lol)7. It does not have a kickstand but don't worry. Smooth back so adhesive sticks very well. Spend $10 and get a seperate stand. Totally worth it. But be careful where and which angle you mount it. Mine mounts great for front screen use but will have to re-mount to be able to use it standing up! He'll use two mounts! This a big thiiiicccc phone anyways.8. Had some foam like other models for some shock protection but the hard rubber is where it really protects phone. The cheaper Chinese weird name brands were only cheap plastic that will crack easily.Conclusion... best damn case out there. Spigen has made a name for themselves in the past few years as the good "cheap brand" that took sales away from otterbox (expensive). This cheap brand now appears to he a leading manufacturer of phone cases. I trust spigen for the past 5 years on all my note phones and I drop my phones a lot!Just buy it. Amazon has hassle free returns if you don't like it but I assure you, this is it for non s pen users. Don't waste time on other weird name China brands (literally only plastic.Cheers!J & N

My previous case (not a Spigen) was falling apart, so I bought the Slim Armor case as a replacement. I have been using it for several months and really like the fit, grip, and feel. Its a lot less bulky than other brands and it has a decent grip for an awkward sized phone like the Samsung Z Fold 3. However, what really impressed me was the fact that this case mostly protected my phone from falling off of my motorcycle at 60 MPH, bouncing off the asphalt, and then crashing into the grill of an oncoming vehicle. My phone mount, which wasn't as quality made as this case, decided to randomly break while driving down the highway the other day, sending my phone flying into oncoming traffic. I say "mostly" protected my phone because at those speeds there was a dent in the spine of my Z Fold 3 which cracked the inner screen. The outer screen and back of the phone were pretty much undamaged except for a few scratches. The fact that the phone wasn't in pieces really surprised me. Definitely a testimony to the build quality of the Spigen case, which was still in one piece, but the upper hinge joint was slightly bent. Fortunately, the insurance through my carrier covered most of the cost for the replacement of my phone and I just ordered a replacement Spigen Slim armor case too. I could probably use the original and will keep it for backup, but don't want to take any chances. I would definitely recommend this case. Its well work the $75 to protect a $1000+ investment like a smart phone. I will continue to buy Spigens for all of my future phones.

This is the way
Bottom Line Up Front - This is the best zfold3 case hands down. This is case 3 for me. All 3 are good cases, but the other 2 had minor flaws.Tech21 hybrid case was really nice because it was compact but did not protect the spine. That's really bad tho because ANY damage to the spine voids the warranty. I got dead pixels along the fold and they would not cover it because there was a tiny tiny chip at the edge of the spine. Had to use my asurion coverage and drop a $250 deductible. So I got the spigen tough armor. It was super bulky but this phone will never be small...so no big deal. Main knock on it is how high the raised edges are from the screen. It makes it very difficult to type using any of the keys on the very left side - mainly 1 and Q. You will be hitting 2 and W a lot which is more frustrating than it sounds. Other than that, the tough armor was great. This one though.. it's more compact and it feels great in hand. Typing is easy, and the spine is protected. Plus when in tablet mode, the spine protection makes the phone a little easier to hold on to.This one feels like the best of both worlds. If the tech21 had a baby with the tough armor you get the Slim Armor Pro.Hope this helps. Legit user here trying to find the best stuff, and this one feels like it is the one. If something happens to knock this down, I'll update my review.

need more stickers, not the quality I expect from Spigen
I have had this case for over 2 years, already got one replacement as the case starts breaking apartSpigen was great to replace the first one plus sent extra stickersthese stickers are key as you will need them if you try to redo your screen protector (3rd party) since each time you take the phone out of the case, need more fresh stickers otherwise it does not stay securely in the case. I have tried other cases and all forms use some sort of sticker to keep the phone attached to the casefor the price you are paying, and a Spigen fan, I expect more for the durability, which is not worth the price tag, I would rather get the cheaper cases and purchase multiple times than to pay the price Spigen wants, which is what I did after the replacement case failed after a year, both were the same issue, broken top piece, the rubberized case has a nice grip which is key if you are opening the case to rest on something to view your media, other cases are not so friendly with this aspect for grip
