Definetly worth the money
First off let me say that this is a small quad, not a full frame quad. Expecting 15-20min flight time just wont happen.A 9 minute flight time is very good and right on par with its competitor the Wingsland s6 which also claims an approx. 10 min, flight time.Ill go into detail below about each major aspect of this drone.Zerotech review: I received an English user manual, which many reviewers said they did not. I believe Zerotech listened to the consumers and now is providing an English manual. I also received a free spare battery, and as of 2-14-17 they are still offering this deal.Spare parts: you can find these easily. The second you buy dobby, amazon will show you spare parts and they have many. So those individuals that mention there is no spare parts are incorrect.Drone flight time: 5/5 The battery life is great. Knowing that its a selfie drone, if you use it for what it was intended for then there is plenty of flight time. This was never made to compete with a DJI flagship quad or any other full frame drone time. With that said it still beats inexpensive full frame drones in flight time such as any of the SYMA X8 series quads.Drone photo/video: 4/5 the photo's from the dobby are superb. I cant tell the difference from my DJI and the dobby when transferred to my comp. If you have very little wind, this thing will blow you away with how good this camera is. Without a doubt it takes better stills than my gopro or my other 4k action cameras. The video WITHOUT EIS activated is like flying a drone with no gimbal, just a lot of jello. Now my advice is, take the dobby where you want without EIS activated (decrease in flight time when activated) when your ready for that video/photo activate the EIS and you will obtain some great stills/videos.Drone build: 5/5 I personally believe this quad was made to withstand falls up to 5 ft anywhere. The reason is that Zerotech built it to land on the palm of your hand, and expected that it may fall sometimes from the palm. I would say it is built better than the DJI phantom series. Every time I take out my DJI, I know that if I mishandle it I could potentially destroy the gimbal or camera. With the Dobby those worries are not present.Drone optical sensor: 4/5 Its a good piece of technology built into this drone. With that said, I know how they work. DO NOT expect it to work like GPS would outside, it just wont happen. The optical scanner works best with a flat contrasting floor, and no furniture around. If you follow those steps it can mimic how GPS would be and give you a great flight. My advice to novice pilots is don't attempt indoor flights until you are 100% comfortable with the drone.Drone GPS: 5/5 I would score this much higher, and by far beats out my DJI gps stability. After launch if you have full satellite connection, the dobby will not move.Overall this drone is worth the $400.00 price tag. The dobby is packed with features that are present in flagship full frame quads. The dobby is revolutionary right now, so enjoy it and don't get stuck on the little bugs that people experience. They will get updated and fixed by zerotech.I hope this helps, and you enjoy your dobby.

Wifi Issues + Faulty Battery Charging
Wifi says connected but the app does not recognize this, nor does the Wifi Icon appear. Have sent an email to support -- please help!Have tried to reboot both the drone and my phone. Have reset network settings, toggled wifi assist, wifi networking, etc. Have tried to forget the network, renew the lease, and enter wifi settings manually.Did I receive a faulty product?*Update: somehow after leaving the drone and phone on, the phone connected to the drone after an hour or so.Was able to take Dobby for a flight. After the flight, the battery is no longer capable of charging. The charger displays the Orange light (fast charging) but the battery never has any more power.I have sent a second email to [email protected] -- both of them have my order number included.Have had the Dobby for roughly a day and its been nothing but headaches. If all the kinks were worked out I think I would love the product.

Decent Selfie Drone, Battery DOA - Send it back!
This is a decent selfie drone. I got 8 minutes of flying time by fully charging the battery then letting it hover until it ran out of power. Biggest problem is that it came with a bad battery and they required me to send it to the service center in Florida and so far have not responded to my requests for reimbursement of shipping cost. I should have returned it to Amazon for a full replacement as that is free. I would have given this 4 stars had it not been for that.

Great pocket drone for the price.
Great pocket drone for the price.Pros: The 4K camera takes excellent photos! It is small, light, and powerful. I can fly my Dobby drone in pretty high winds! The drone is operated from the app on your smartphone, one installed (and updated) it is easy to fly. The camera can be adjusted to various angles (manually). The video is easy to operate directly from the smartphone interface.Cons: The battery life is terrible. Depending on usage, the battery lasts about 10 minutes per charge. I bought the backup battery (which should be included as standard!) and it makes a huge difference to enjoy the drone. There is no stabilizer for the camera. If the drone is wobbly due to high winds, so is your video. The camera lens is manually adjusted, so I have to land the drone to adjust the angle of the camera, then relaunch to resume photos or video. This is one of the major cost savings, and why the drone is so inexpensive. The startup interface sucks. It is slow to start up, and way too many screens to get to launch. I want to be able to connect the drone, start the app, then start flying. There are at least 5 extra steps when launching the app before you can fly the drone, and more if there is a software update! Many times I was on the beach trying to launch the drone, when I had to wait a few minutes for software update draining my precious battery life (and that is when I decided to buy the backup battery). I have learned to double check for software updates before I leave my house so that I can update then charge that battery before I go to use the drone.Overall, I am very pleased with the drone. It is easy to fly, takes great photos, and the size is perfect for everyday use.

Very Smart Pocket Drone - Perfect for Photos and Video
Perfect, stable, and convenient. I'm really pleased with this drone. It feels like everything has been thought out. The GPS and other ways that the drone stays locked in place are very good. Best of all, it fits in my pocket easily and I can use my cell phone (always on me anyway) to control it. I haven't had any trouble controlling it either and the "return to home" feature is great - I let it just fly back to me. The photos and videos go to my phone so I can share them on the spot - very cool. Just a reminder; download the English PDF file and read it (if that is your language). I always calibrate the compass and make sure I have satellites (the app shows you how many) before I fly it. I use an iPhone to control it - I'm sure that other smart phones work well too.
