Smooth shave but better when you have a couple of days growth.

I've been using for two weeks now. I find it satisfactory. The backup is good cos it does not need to charge till now after initial charging. The handling is also comfortable, and shaving is quite smooth.

Very bad experience

I trust the brand Gillette because I owned a Gillette electric shaver in 2009 and today it is still working! I keep using the same blade (shaver head), no replacement, for over 10 years.I was going to buy a new Gillette electric shaver but I found that it was acquired by Braun so I picked a Braun's shaver.At arrival it didn't power up until connected to the charger. Not sure if the battery was drained or it required charging to activate before the first time of usage. Charging was very quick. The first time charging took about 20 min from low to full.Braun claims that it has a 5 min quick charge technology for one shave, and a full charge provides 50 min continuous shaving time (about 3 week usage). I can't tell the battery running time since I shave weekly.Shaving is much quicker than my old 2009 Gillette shaver. The new blades can easily cut the stubble. Its 3-cutting-element shaver head works perfectly on my thin stubble beard. I don't need the 360-degree flexible shaver head.Also easy to clean due to its 100% waterproof feature and "EasyClean System" design - just place it under the water tap and flush. I don't even need to detach the shaver head.It also has some other trimmer attachments. May try later.A very nice electric shaver. Hope it can work for another 10-year, just like my Gillette shaver.

This is the best shaver for me. It provided a very clean shave (for my face shape) and the best feature was the ease of cleaning. I liked that the normal cleaning ritual was simply to run the shaver under the tap. Best of all, the price was very affordable and delivery was pronto. Super happy with the sleek shaver.

This is the first electric shaver I have ever bought and used, so I can't compare to other products. I used to use safety razors, and while the results from these were mostly great (except the occasional cut), it became a little too time consuming to regularly shave for me.With this Braun device, it only takes a fraction of the time of using razors, but the results are not as great as a meticulous razor shave. However, the results are good enough to not look unshaven, it's just that it doesn't look greatly shaven as it may leave small stubble around that, no matter how often I'll go over them, I can't seem to get rid off. As I only shave my neck, I'm fine with that though. If I need a real proper shave for that particular occasion, I'll stick to my razor - but for day to day shaving, the Braun has been a real time and hassle saver. Finally not looking unshaven anymore for most parts of the week is almost a game changer.Battery life is great, and remaining battery is indicated on the device itself. Charging is also quickly done. The sound during shaving is at an acceptable level, and not particularly annoying. In the box, you'll also find a trimmer blade to preshave some of the longer hairs if you haven't shaved for some time. While that's a nice gimmick, I prefer using a dedicated trimmer instead, which usually yields better results. It cleans well under running water, although reassembly of the shaver head after cleaning can be a little fiddly.It's a decent device for the price given, but do not expect miracles with the shaving results - except for the time it takes to shave to get a somewhat decent result, which is a real game changer to me and the reason I bought it.
