Might have worked?!
Having heard scratching sounds in the ceiling again every night for a couple of weeks and having previously had mice (my building has too many entry points from the street and live in central London) I bought this and had to try in a few places but once I got it really close to where the scratching sound was coming from it appears to have totally eliminated it. Would have given 5 stars but will forever be scared they’ll come back.

Amazed
Read this can take a while to work but literally turned it on and in a couple of days the mouse was gone from the garage!Hasn't affected the hamster inside or the kids, have left it plugged in to try and stop them coming back.Few quid more than Screwfix but delivered to the door quickly so worth it

Doesn’t work for mice
A year and a half ago I caught a mouse in my kitchen. I live in a residential new’ish build on the first floor near the Thames and it came in through a tiny hole in the wall under the kitchen sink. I brought in a professional exterminator then to check and seal all possible entry points with foam and then basically purchased this device (the Advanced Electromagnetic and Ultrasonic version) and kept it plugged in the kitchen since just in case. I also bought The Big Cheese trap (the cheap ready baited one) and left it on the kitchen floor fully set up just to be sure. I thought that even if mice attempted to come in again they’d be repelled by the ultrasound, maybe. No mice were spotted since but that’s probably because they couldn’t find a way in. Until now. Just a few days ago I thought I saw something so the old paranoia kicked in and I set up new traps (with real cheese ironically) just to be sure. A few days passed without incident and I assumed with some relief that what I saw was probably nothing but just this morning a mouse was caught in one of the traps. All while this device was still plugged in and fully operational. Either the mouse somehow became accustomed to the sounds and then ventured in through a new entry point or this ultrasonic repeller simply doesn’t work. I’ll give it two stars because I’m sure it does something: I haven’t seen for example a single ant or cockroach etc since I installed it so can’t really complain. But clearly it doesn’t repel mice which is why I bought it. On a separate note: those cheap ready-baited Big Cheese traps really do work and I recommend them

Not safe for small furry pets
I installed one of these on each floor of my house including the loft. Although it states safe for household pets, it’s important to add that this is dog, cats, birds and fish and not anything small and furry or rabbits.I can hear one of the repellers, it’s a high pitch whine when I move around the kitchen, so it’s working but a little bit annoying.A few weeks after installing a mouse was in my conservatory but it was not in a good way, and seemed dazed which may have been due to these units.I haven’t (fingers crossed) seen anymore signs of activity since installation but I have also filled any visible gaps with wire wool and silicone sealant to act as a deterrent too so it’s hard to say what’s effective but as a peace of mind I will keep these running
