Q: Does this kit have everything needed??

The kit does have everything Depending on the condition of your hair in the color be wary I was leaving it on long i used this kit on someone the other day End it came out wonderful but don’t set a timer check it often after 15 minutes or depending on your shade get a different developer to cause less damage to your hair

Q: Do you tone your hair after bleaching?

I have used this product many times...using it again in 2 days....anyway....my hair is naturally ash blonde and I like it really light with no chicken fat yellow color...sooo..I use this...I leave on 60-90minutes,comes out really light....no you don't need a toner as long as you use a good purple shampoo & conditioner a couple times a week...this acts as a toner. If your natural hair color is not blonde before using... I'm not sure about that. You can call your local Sally's and ask them...they should know.

Q: how long do i leave it on

It really depends. You could test a strand by mixing a very small amount. That is whats good about it you mix only what you need. As you get use to it you will get use to the consistency to mix. Test mixing the power just a little damp so it sticks to your brush and you can slide it in your hair easily. I have fell asleep/over night and it did not hurt my hair. But I have always used a conditioner when ever I shampoo.The consistency is the main thing for it to work faster or better. Too wet and runny seems not to take hold as well as a little thick. Too thick and clumps will cause a spot where the clump laps over your selected hair strand. If you have someone helping you they can use a crochet needle to weave under hair ,up over, under, picking up stands. Paint it then flip it over your head toward your face and work your way down.
