Its a filter, it cleans oil and keeps engines from blowing up, so far its doing its job well.

This is a very good filter and the grip feature makes it a breeze to install and remove. In the past I have needed a special filter wrench, but not with this one.

Always stock up on these when Amazon puts them up as add-on items. Price can't be beat.Some say don't buy Fram filters, but I can tell you I've never had issues with them.
