Black corrosion from the hawk in my mud!
I really liked this hawk but halfway through the project I was confused why my mud had dark streaks. It was the hawk, after scraping it over and over. The ladder with the dried mud in the photo proves this. It’s not a huge deal to have the streaks since it will be primed and painted, but it’s now tough to tell when there’s actual dirt in the mud because of these streaks. Not fun!

Works great for occasional home use
inexpensive, works great for home use. How have I not had one of these for years???

Quality control?
The product looks ok but all rounded corners were not deburred. They left the metal pushed up and sharp from what ever pressed they used to punch it out. So i had to debur it myself. To me that is not "strict" quality control. Shows lack of QA.
