A cute little hanging pot that can have its chains removed and used as a regular standing pot. The bottom is flat so this is not a problem if you do not want to hang it. One thing I want to note is that the self watering makes an indent in the inner pot (theres an inner and outer to make a reservoir) so even though it is 7.5 inches it is actually a little smaller. I repotted my plant from a 4 inch planter in this one and it fit perfectly. Also don't be like me and throw out the little black plug on the bottom of the pot.. i dont know why i thought it needed a drainage hole when it was a self watering one

I absolutely LOVED these pots!I bought the white ones, and the product is excellent quality. I was a little weary of them being plastic, but they look sleek and elegant with a homey feel. When transferring my plants into the planters, I honestly made a mess. But, they were easy to clean up and went right back to looking pearly white (an unexpected pro of the plastic material!).The assembly was quick and easy. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and in less than five minutes I had brand new planters ready to use.I have not decided where to hang them up yet, but I currently have them above my fridge sitting like regular planters. The flat bottom is a great feature because it makes the planters versatile.I loved the combination of the black metal chains with the white planter, and I will definitely be getting more to hang around my house and garden. The size is great for starter plants, and the self regulating water is a feature I cannot see myself living without anymore lolI definitely recommend these for their practicality, but their aesthetic as well.

Luv these planters and being self watering is a plus. Now there's no need to over water your plants. The meter let you know exactly when its the next time to water. Light design and great for hanging. Overall satisfied

These are great for the price. As others have said, the dimensions are for the outer basket so the inner basket is smaller plus the water indicator does take up additional room. I used them for some 4” pothos plants and they’re perfect for that size. I like that the water indicator is easy to see since I’ve hung the plants up high enough that I’ll need to use a step ladder to water them. They seem very sturdy, I’ll likely repurchase in another color, as I’m propagating one of the plants.

The pot looks cute but feels very flimsy. The inner pot doesn't sit in the outer pot very well. Once it's all put together and hanging though it looks nice. The contrast between the white pot and black chain is nice.A parts list would be nice to have since I put one together and couldn't get the water gauge to work. Turns out i didn't recieved the little foam ball that makes the stick float. So only one of mine has a working water gauge. I'm going to try to find another little foam ball that I can make work.Overall though it's a nice enough set up.

I love this planter! Super easy to put together. I’m currently rooting my Hoya cuttings with moss so I filled up the bottom with water to keep it humid in there for root growth. The water gauge slowly goes down as the water gets low which is really neat! The chain hanger is great and I love the white and black contrast. Great quality! Would definitely recommend.

Honestly took me awhile to get myself to replant my new indoor plants. Was looking so forward to this self watering system because I have a tendency to over water my plants. haha. Got everything together and transferred over did everything to the directions to each period and comma. And I redid it over and over again a to no avail it keeps dripping out the bottom. So upset and dissatisfied. Will be looking for another option for my plants now. And money out my pocket thrown away. ☹️
