Not only can you use this leather vest as a protective layer while on a bike, you can show your love of Sons of Anarchy! This vest has been coverted to its current style from a fleece and long-sleeve jacket.

Order bigger then you want.
The patches are the best thing about it. I ordered the 3x thinking it should be big enough that with vest extenders I could snap it closed. NOPE, fits like a large. Maybe its because of copyright laws but I have spotted a couple of differences in the patches from the t.v. show patches. the biggest one is the color. The letters are blue on the show, not black. Overall its a good costume vest which is what I bought it for. I'll just put the patches on another vest that fits better.

Can't beat it for the price
I'll admit that I can't truly attest to its durability (seeing as I've only had it a week) but for $60 I am very impressed. It's comfortable, and the detail in the back patch is impeccable. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the lack of other patches. Fortunately those are easily accessible.

I really like it A LOT BUT!!!!!
It's a great vest and the patches are very high quality and are IDENTICAL in shape and size and color or at least in comparing to screen worn freeze frames and pictures they are the same patches used on the show and they are definitely NOT cheap flimsy thin patches like others you can buy.. It's also a licensed item and has the tag and the sewn in official merchandise tag so overall it's a great item and with the rest of the cut patches sewn on it'll look really nice as soon as I can find and buy the other patches that are the correct size, shape and colors, or have them custom made? So on the PROS side the vest has a lot going for it... And from what I've seen these vests are a VERY limited edition and only a few were made and sold and I got the last one that was for sale so I'm happy I got it before the last one was goneOn the CONS side of things the vest isn't really a vest, or at least it didn't start out as a vest, it was converted to a vest from one of the leather road jackets so it has a drawback or two when compared to a regular biker vest or cut, and I would have given it a 4.5 star rating because of this but couldn't choose 4.5 and it wasn't bad enough to give it a 4 star rating so I gave it a 5.... The biggest disappointment is that it doesn't have the collar like the cuts worn on the show so you can't add the Jax rifle sickle collar patches on in the right place and to just sew them on lower just wouldn't look right so I'm at a bit of a quandary...I'd thought of just taking the patches off and putting them on a leather vest that matches the screen worn vests more closely but since its a licensed SOA Road gear item I don't want to do that and ruin the jacket but on the other hand they could always be re sewn back onto the jacket, but the jacket is lined and I'd have to undo the lining and sew them back on and then sew the lining back on so that's just too much work and it would still be ruined if not done right, then I thought about just sewing in a collar to match the screen worn vest collar which is an idea I still might consider doing? Overall I like the vest/cut a lot and it will look great with the other patches sewn onto it, but the lack of collar to put the Jax patches on will eventually begin to really bother me after the newness of it wears off and if I could find the correct patches alone I'd buy them and just make the cut from a screen accurate vest but the SCREEN ACCURATE patches seem to only be available already on a coat or jacket so I either have to live with what I got or buy one of the cheaper $60.00 or $80.00 cotton or twill jackets and use the patches from one of them to make a closer to screen accurate vest? Which is a not bad idea when you consider some people want to sell one reaperatch for more then that and the shape and colors are not correct and the patch is either smaller or too big so I'll have to see what I end up doing? Either way ill end up adding the rest of the patches to this item, all except the Jax collar patches because there's no collar to sew them onto..... Anyway ill add pictures of the finished vest/cut to show how it turns outOverall it's a nice vest and I love the patches and ill keep it in my collection and ill probably buy one of the cheaper road gear items with the patches on it and make a more screen accurate cut with all the patches including the Jax collar ones because his is the most prominent one on the show and I don't think any of the other SOA members vests have the collar patches like Jax has as far as I can remember... Either way the SOA road gear items are great and I plan on buying a few other licensed items for our collection of movie and TV props, costumes, replicas and other odds and ends so if your a fan of SOA and want something great to wear while watching your show then these items are great to own and they patches and other replica items are correct to the screen used items and that's a big plus and as far as converting one of the leather jackets to a vest was a good idea, it could have been done a little better in my opinion, but its still really a nice item, and the leather isn't cheap and thin and is of same quality as any other moderatelyroced leather jacket but with this one you get the SOA patches on the item so if they decide to produce more of these vests then it would be a good idea to grab one and you won't be dissapointed with the quality...BC

Small but Beautiful
Runs small & I got a 2x for my husband. Good thing he collects Son's of Anarchy memoranda. I wish he could have worn it when we ride the Harley but he's happy just to add it to his collection.
