This comb works great! I was struggling to find one that would work great with how short and yet thick/corse my dogs fur is. You can see in the pic just a little bit of the fur that didn't fly away, Gus loved being combed too which helped. Only down fall is the slide guard that is supposed to cover the comb between uses is very difficult to slide over so I just put the brush in a spot no one can access it between uses

We have a new dog, an Australian Shephard. She was a rescue and had all sorts of knots in her fur. This deshedding tool really worked great to cut off the really bad tangles and untangling the smaller ones. Now Leia looks beautiful.
