Best sight reading teaching tool on the market
Best sight reading teaching tool on the market, in my opinion. I use it with my voice students ages 12-20 and each is making good progress. Progressively difficult exercises whose organization and explanation makes good sense. The regional children's chorus with whom I work also selected it for the entire choir (independent of my recommendation).

Choral teachers: Take notice
After searching for a sight singing book I decided to use this one. It begins easy and gradually becomes more difficult. I am using it with my high school choir but it could be used in the middle grades if you are serious enough about wanting the singers to sight read. I had no serious "I hate this" from any of them...although it's not their favorite part of choir. I use it as part of my warm ups. There is also a follow up book to this series and a teachers' guide.

Getting kids to read music vocally. Let's all do it !!
A simple book to get my private piano students reading vocally. Being reproducible is huge for us. Thanks.
