T&G Tuscany Rectangular End Grain Chopping Board with Finger Grooves in Acacia, Medium, 38 x 26 x 4 cm

Ordered this from Amazon and arrived next day in a box without any padding or cushioning - good on Amazon, probably saved quite a bit of paper/plastic and the board wasn't realistically going to be damaged from being knocked around (it's a fairly solid chunk of wood).It's not very heavy, unlike some other end grain wooden boards I've handled, and the acacia does tend to be on the harder side of end grain boards in my limited experience. That said, it's still a darn sight better than most edge grain or bamboo boards. Bargain for the price they're asking.My board doesn't sit completely flat on the countertop though - it wobbles just a bit when I press down on a corner. Not slippery enough to make it unsafe, but it's an imperfection that I would not have expected from a brand new board. Contacted Amazon, who sorted out a solution fairly quickly so no further complaints from my end.

I was so excited about this cutting board. So when it arrived today with a crack and scratches in it, I was disappointed because the plan was that I would look after it and have it last. With a crack in it, it's inevitable that it'll get damaged faster as food gets stuck in there etc.

Really nice bit of wood. Lots of steps to take care of it so not the easiest to clean. Whilst there is a cavity that acts as a handle, it's rather heavy so difficult to pick up once you have chopped food on it.Looks great and chops well - decent size as well ( I bought the medium).Quite expensive for what you get...

good solid block much better than in our local stores which are now mostly bamboo and don,t last, this block is worth every penny and will last for years if looked after . thanks.

Very pleased with this it is a good size and thickness and is attractive to look at. Really easy to clean, just wipe with a cloth.
