Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub Review
The Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub is an external hard drive designed for gamers who need a lot of storage space for their games, movies, and other content. Here are some reviews of the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub, 8TBProsLarge capacity for storing a vast collection of games and other content.Fast for a spinning external hard drive, thanks to its 7,200rpm platters.RGB lighting adds a cool look to any gaming setup.Great value for the price compared to external SSDs.Easy to connect and use.ConsPlodding compared with most external SSDs.Limited range of connectors.Plastic build could be more premium. Can't play PlayStation 5 games from the hard drive.Overall, the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub is a great desk addition for backing up and archiving your collection. It is a great value for the price and excels at backing up and storing all the games you could ever hope to own. The 8TB version is perfect for those who need a lot of storage space for their games and other content. The FireCuda Gaming Hub is fast for a spinning external hard drive, thanks to its 7,200rpm platters, but it is plodding compared with most external SSDs. The limited range of connectors is a downside, but it is easy to connect and use. The plastic build could be more premium, but the RGB lighting adds a cool look to any gaming setup. If you are looking for a large capacity external hard drive for your gaming needs, the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub is a great option And If Your Looking For Hard Drive For Steam Games This Is The Best Thing To Get I Have 345 Steam Games Downloaded And I Have Still Have Storage Left And It Runs Steam Games Like Its Nothing

8Tb for over 1000+ games
Its a great product, it has no faults 8Tb of SSD is brilliant & 1Tb internal, I still have a 4Tb disc drive but with that you have to transfer it to the internal, otherwise it will not work, I still have a 4Tb SSD, I'll plug that back in when the time isright(more games!!)This new external memory is great for gaming console or PC, the difference is like night & day

A nice drive, but it was not a simple plug and play experience for me.
I already have the Gaming version of this drive and that worked flawlessly as soon as it was connected to my win 10 pc. This time I opted for the PC version and immediately ran into trouble. My PC could not see it. Checking through device manager the enclosure was visible there but it didn't show the drive itself at all and windows flat out ignored it altogether in the normal file explorer. Seagates help files were pushing for reformat and were also less than perfect to follow. I used the minitools download for partition work and assigned the drive a unique drive letter and after that it worked perfectly. I wasted a lot of time working that little bit of info out and deducted a star from the item for that issue. It works fine now and seems perfect. But all the messing about to get to this stage was highly annoying. Outside of that, the enclosure is a nice thing. With controllable RGB lighting making it look pretty cool in use. But the additional of a fat usb and a usb c socket on the front adds another string to the drives bow. I like the form factor of the drive and now it is working properly it is a really nice unit to have. It's just a shame that it was such a pain to get working properly.

Unable to run even the simplest of games. Absolutely useless "gaming" harddrive.
Seriously disappointed with this "gaming" harddrive.Unable to run even small, simple, single player games without numerous crashes. This harddrive is connected to the dedicated 3.2 usb port, on a pc that's 8 months old, yet it still cannot run a single player game that is less than 1GB in size without stuttering and crashing. All of the games I have tested run without issue when stored on the computer's internal memory, but horrendously on this harddrive. On a positive note the harddrive is super quiet, and the RGB strip is a nice addition. But it simply does not do what it states it can do.Would NOT recommend!

Great reliable storage with good capacity and form factor.
I bought this to hold a large collection of media, and whilst it cannot boast the speeds of SSD or NVMe, what it does have is capacity.... a lot of it!There is plenty of competition for gaming products and storage is no different. Usually a 'gaming' storage product would try to differentiate itself by having faster read/write speeds, but Seagate have marketed this product firmly in the large capacity category. The drive itself is not too big, and comes with customisable LED light effects that can sync with Razor gaming equipment, but they don't really add anything for me. The performance is reasonable for a spinning disc, with retrieval of documents, video and photos at an acceptable level.Seagate are known for making good hard drives, so I expect this will last a while, but they also have a data recovery service, allowing you a single lab based attempt to recover your data in the event of a failure. This is a nice touch, but in practice, an online backup service is probably still required for most people. There are more secure ways to store data locally, but for the price, this drive represents good value for money and is certainly doing a good job for me so far.
