Fengtaiyuan JSBP3, Metal Pens, Black Gel Ink Rollerball Pens, 0.5mm, Extra Fine, 3 Pack, Writting Smooth (Black-0.5mm)

I bought two different types of Fengtaiyuan pen sets and I love both of them. I will be ordering a blue set next...

These are pretty nice writing utensils, and seem to be well-made. They are thicker-barreled, so avoid them if you like skinny, Bic-style pens, and they do have a nice heft to them so that you know you're holding something. I like that, but some may not. The mechanism for deploying the tip (you turn the barrel in the cap) works smoothly and feels like quality.They also write well, once you get that last of the annoying little wax tip off the roller ball, making smooth, clean lines. My first shipment on these was lost due to the envelope not being sealed correctly - but the USPS dutifully delivered the empty envelope! I notified Amazon of the issue but didn't expect them to be replaced, as free Vine items are generally not guaranteed delivery. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a replacement shipment, this time successfully, as these are nice pens.I can't help but feel that they are a little pricey at about $7.00 each, but they are nice enough quality that the price may not be out of line. Maybe I'm just cheap... I do like the free pens various places give out, after all, but they are nowhere near as nice as these!

The pens are very heavy to hold and do not write smoothly across paper

Do so much typing and swiping these days for filling out information that my penmanship has gotten a bit rough. Never-the-less, I needed some good Black Gel Ink Rollerball Pens for my home office and settled on this brand. Primarily due to the metal casing and color combination.Have large hands and the weight and size of this pen feels just right when writing with one. Ink flows effortlessly from the tip as I’m moving my hand along the paper. Every part of this pen screams superior craftmanship even if just lying on my desk.Can tell that Fengtaiyuan’s marketing department doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to promoting the brand based on the logo imprinted along the pen’s shaft. Really like the beautiful box the pens were stored in. Makes the set perfect to give as a gift.Wish there were refills, but I’m sure these Alloy Steel pens will be with me for a long time, unless one of my sticky finger in-laws get a hold of them.

So this pen works well for me. I am able to hold it comfortably and my writing is pretty neat when I use it. The ink flows smoothly and I got no clumps or blotches. The set comes with no refills, but these look like standard refills that can be found in an office supply store or on Amazon.The purple color and design are nice. I see complaints about the large company branding on these pens. The purple pens do not have that. The pictures of the black pens show the branding and that makes me glad that I went with purple.The box that they come in is nice. These would make a good gift for any pen lovers in your life.Three pens with no refills for $21.59 is not the best deal. Still, they are solid and should last a while.

The media could not be loaded.  These pens are beautifully packaged in a white presentation box.They feel wonderful in the hand. The ink took a few moments to start to flow evenly. Once they were "warmed" up, the ink came out of the chamber smoothly, and the pen wrote with grace. A good pen like this makes the physicality of writing easier, and eases the hand.The only thing I didn't completely like is the way that the brand is emblazoned so boldly across the pen. I never like to own items with such blatant branding. And in this case, as I am not familiar with the makers of these fine pens, to me it looks a bit like a giveaway from a convention. As I write this, I know it sounds harsh, but that is what they look like. I really wish they had been subtler with the labeling.However, I am using these in my home office, so this is absolutely not a deal breaker for me for personal use.

These are very nice pens. They have a really nice weight to them, which makes them feel high quality, and they write super smoothly. My only complaint is that they are retractable pens. I prefer to have a pen with a cap, but that is a preference, so no points taken off for that. They are very thick pens, so be aware of that. This is something I actually like, as they are very comfortable to write with. They come nicely packaged and have a protective cap over the ball point, possibly made of wax? I am pleased with this purchase.

These are a joke. They feel hollow and flimsy, they write poorly and roughly, and they are branded with a large logo that makes them look like you got them for free at the bank.

- I have mixed feelings with this pen. It seems the pens are marketed as more premium pens, from the packaging to the pen itself, however, I find that there are some things here and there that don't really make me feel like I”m holding a premium pen.- First is the brand on the pen. It detracts from the premium side and looks cheaper in my opinion. I had another fine writing instrument that is about $150 and it doesn’t even have a brand logo on it. It looks very elegant. The logo and brand name of this pen, along with the indicating tip size doesn’t add elegant or premium to it. I wish they should’ve gone with a much smaller brand name, or have it at a place where it looks better, such as the top of the pen.- While the seller claims that the pen is carbon fiber, it is not entirely made of carbon fiber, or I double if there is any carbon fiber in this pen. It’s certainly heavy. I would never guess that it’s made of carbon fiber judging by its weight. The only thing that reminds me of carbon fiber is that actual carbon fiber looks on the bottom half of the pen. I test with a magnet and find that it sticks to every part of the pen. This makes me think that it’s not carbon fiber at all, or a very thin carbon fiber layer that the magnet can attract through the metal barrel inside?!?- Writing is smooth, although I do experience a tiny smearing once or twice during use for about a week. So it’s good enough for me.- I also took a closer look at the pen and found some spots are not clearly refined, especially at the back of the clip. Overall, the premium claim on the selling page leaves me disappointed when I have the actual package in hand. However, the price of about $10 for each pen is reasonable.

This three pen set from Fengtaiyuan is almost a perfect 5 and honestly isn’t far off from it. I would give it a 4.5 if I could.They’re a beautifully crafted one piece pen with gold accents making the 3D layered barrel pop. The pen operates very smoothly from open to close.These well balanced 0.7mm pens make for smooth writing while still being able to have moderately thin lines. The ink is fairly fast drying depending on your pen pressure. If you are a hard writer chances are you might smudge the ink. However with medium pressure it dries almost instantly.The packaging is well done and most definitely makes it giftable. The only issue I have with the pen is the clip gets loose fairly easy. It’s still on just needed to be bent back. It could be taken off but hasn’t bothered me that much yet.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The media could not be loaded.  These bad bois have all the smoothy juicyness that you want out of a favourite pen. I love stationary. It's a problem. But these pens are going to be awesome scribble-note-takers (I like a 0.5 for presentation writing, but these 0.7mm are good for just jotting down notes).Because it is so smooth, it makes writing a breeze. I haven't felt one of those scratchy tugs at all with these pens and it's glorious.Here's the biggest problems with them: they smudge. And I'm not talking like just instantly...even after a few minutes you can run your finger over it and it'll smudge.Also, for being a rather expensive (at $28.04 right now), I'm not sure if they scream, "Hey look at me and all my fancy stationary!". They more scream, "Hey, you probably got this pen for free from some garage after they fixed your car".

The media could not be loaded.  loved the look of these pens! i dont buy pens very often, and when i do theyre usually the cheap kinds. was looking forward to using a better quality pen, and was NOT disappointed!this box comes with 3 pens, with a sky & cloud design. The ink is black. The pens are of the 'twist' type, though they look like they have a cap. they have a clip to clip onto your paper (or whatever youre writing on) so you don't lose it.overall good quality pens, the shell of the pens is metal, so probably won't get warm or stick to your hand after long periods of writing, though i have not put this to the test.at the current price of $23.83 ($7.94/pen) i think this is an ok deal for a better quality pen, as long as it lasts a while. will definitely recommend.

Definitely one of the best pens I have ever used. Very easy to write with. Flows nicely. The material and build quality is great. Solidly built pens. Will definitely last long if properly taken care of. The ink does not smudge and dries relatively fast. These are not gel pens but still they glide nicely over the paper. I am very happy with the performance. Decent price considering the overall quality and performance ($28 for the 3-pack as I write this).
