Absolutely in love with this webcam. I was looking for a DSLR as an alternative to this but with how janky DSLR set-ups for video calls are, I am happy I went with the webcam. The picture quality is great - the quirk of this model is that you need to have a lot of light - this is where it really shines. Otherwise you will get some ghosting on the edges as well as overall fuzziness. The self centre feature is really neat for professional calls where you need to make sure you stay in the centre of the frame. This combined with the wide FOV and an exceptional autofocus makes it pretty accommodating to different setups (in terms of how close you sit to the camera, as long as you have plenty of light on your face). The Dell software is really good - makes it really easily to adjust the picture to your liking via configuration sliders. The magnetic privacy cover is a nice thought, and the camera build quality feels really solid and has some heft to it. This is truly a premium product and you can feel it as soon as you open the box.

I spend a lot of professional time on Zoom and Teams, so I need a good public image. This camera works straight out of the box, and comes with great software which loads onto Windows 10 when you plug it in. Any settings you change remain in place after the camera and computer are shut down. I did spend some time maximising the image and moving my ring light closer, and this pic is the result. I suggest that those folk who have given poor reviews have not maximised the camera's possibilities.I found the autofocus a bit sluggish until I increased the light on my face. Also I started by running it through a powered USB multi socket adapter. Focus speed improved when I plugged it directly into the laptop. I'm not concerned with the lack of microphone since I use a condenser mic anyway, and would rather my bucks went into the video capabilities. Very pleased, and would highly recommend.

The build quality is excellent and the connectivity and accessories well designed and of high quality. It's a bit large / long, so if exposed it can be knocked off by people walking past the screen. Facial recognition works quiet well, but could be faster. A wider angle lens (>90°) option would be a useful addition and could enable it to be used in small rooms for team sessions. A travel case would also be a helpful accessory to include. Having tried the two main cameras in this price and feature group (including the Yealink UVC30), I would recommend the Dell. The software is also very well implemented and provides lots of useful features and customisation. I should add that the picture quality for the price is great.

While this webcam looks good, that's pretty much all it does.The 4K is nowhere near as crisp as you'd expect 4K to be, and the camera is plagued with an overexposure issue that will constantly ramp up the brightness of the scene until it looks like a blizzard.There is no swivel or tilt, so hopefully you have the perfect location for this webcam. Overpriced and will be returning it.

I decided to write an update on my previous review after a couple of days of use.Overall, this is not a bad WebCam, but there are clearly some things to bear in mind before you purchase.Resolution and viewing angles:Although this WebCam boasts a native 4K resolution, it also has very wide viewing angles. From what I understand you only need wide lenses for conferences to fit-in many people around the table, or for security cameras so they cover the entire room. The rationale of having a wide viewing angle for a desktop WebCam is frankly questionable. As a result you will likely need to use digital zoom (or the framing feature) during video calls, and that, of course, will reduce the native resolution by two or three times, depending on how much you need to zoom in. So in practical terms you will be getting something like full HD at most.Ergonomics:The build quality is impeccable and the magnetic fixtures look and feel great. However, the camera can only move up and down but strangely there is no swivel left and right, which can be a bugger for many people.Size:It’s huge, more like a portable SLR zoom lens! I am not used to paying attention to WebCam measurements before purchase, so nothing prepared me for the size of it. It’s about 3-4 times bigger than my old Microsoft WebCam and looks rather intimidating on top of the 27 inch screen. Not sure why it needs to be so huge and long, provided that my laptop has a cam with facial recognition that sits in a screen bezel of just a few millimetres wide.Heat:One thing I noticed after a couple of days of use is that it heats up quite a bit. The worst thing is that it stays really warm even when not in use! That means the activity LED is off, and my screen is not locked so the facial recognition module is not trying to detect presence. This is clearly a poor firmware design, and at the time when energy efficiency is a top priority, this is really unforgivable. Imagine you have the entire office of these cameras creating extra heat, not only you have to pay to generate it but also to remove it through the air conditioning.Windows Hello:The facial recognition works really well, usually it works first time and quickly.Software:The Dell app is very intuitive and has all the basic controls, the framing feature is a bit gimmicky and doesn’t allow to zoom in or out, it only tracks faces as you move from one side of the screen to another. This tracking often seems rather artificial. It also doesn’t work on Macs, which is fine by me.

It says it's macOS compatible, it is NOT!All the features around AI, but tracking, the settings and configuration, are ONLY available on a Windows PC.There is NO software for macOS.Bottom line, it's a £180 webcam with nothing special about the image quality.

Great product. Expensive, but this is the only webcam I could find without a built-in microphone. I prefer to use a separate quality stereo microphone for my purposes and this camera allows that without having to mess around with settings all the time. Excellent picture quality, well made with a metal body. The tripod mount is especially useful. It does get quite warm in use but this isn't an issue. Personally, I cannot fault it.

AFTER AN HOUR ON TECHNICAL SUPPORT THE TECHNICIAN TOLD ME THAT THIS CAMERA CAN NOT BE ATTACHED TO THE NEW APPLE LAPTOP AIR T BECAUSE THE USB PORT ON THE APPLE DOES NOT TAKE THE CONNECTING WIRE INCLUDED with THE WEBCAM. THEY ADVISED ME TO RETURN THE MODEL WHICH I AM NOW GOING TO DO. I ASKED IF THERE WAS AN ADAPTER AND HE SAID THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO RETURN IT. WHEN I CALLED DELL TO RETURN OF COURSE HE TOLD ME TO SEND IT BACK WITH AMAZON.

Die Kamera liefert ab, 2k mit 30 Fps oder 720p mit 60 Fps, sehr gute Basisfeatures zum moderaten Preis im Dell Business-Gewand.Aufnahmen bei 720p 60 Fps hakeln ein wenig, lassen Frames aus, bei 2k 30 Fps keine Probleme. OBS erkennt die Kamera ohne Probleme und auch Filter und Effekte sind kein Problem. Für mich damit eine gute Alternative zu den ganzen Streamkameras, wo viele die Linsenverschlusskappe vergessen.Der Fokus arbeitet sehr zurückhaltend und das ist gut so und die Software lässt mich sogar die Modi gut bearbeiten.
