This does work on both Surface Pros 6 & 9 but...
I tested this using both Dell 45W & 65W USB C chargers (both come with a built in USB C lead); and the Anker Nano II 45W USB C charger (Model Number: A2664) paired with either a BLKEER USB C to USB C Cable 6.6ft or Anker 643 USB-C to USB-C Cable (1m).On the Surface Pro 9 (nine) all the above combinations worked, but it said the battery was slow charging (which is precisely what I wanted to preserve battery life). The battery is charging.On the Surface Pro 6 (six) only the 65W Dell charger worked. Strangely with the other two chargers the cables light still comes on but the SP6 doesn’t charge or take power from it.I’ve only had the charger for a day so cannot comment on its durability, but it looks well made and clicks in to both SPs nicely and into the USB C connector.Update: I've now had this cable for almost a year. It still works and shows no sign of damage.
