I love that these knives are crafted from one piece of metal so there are no crevices to be concerned with when cleaning or the fear of the handle separating from the blade. They are lighweight and easy to use. The display is so modern and contemporary and looks fabulous on my countertop. Great gift idea, great price, would definitely purchase again.

Arrived safe. It takes seconds to unbox and place these on your countertop as a presentable kitchen jewelry; that's how good they look. All the metal and how it flows reminds me of an Art Deco piece, but obviously the modern European looking transparent holder gets in the way of that, but still it is a very nice looking set as a complete package. To keep the shipping weight and the costs low the holder is not made to be bottom heavy, so you might be afraid of it tipping, but rest assured the feet are wide, so the risk is minimum. The knives arrived very sharp, and none of them has any visible rust on them; but after reading other reviews I do plan to only hand wash them, so I am not too worried about rust at the moment. The holder is on the cheaper side, but considering the listing price, this is still a steal as a whole, and I highly recommend it.

I bought 2 of these, only for the clear case. I use them to store my good knives so I can see the blades and easily select the correct knife. The included knives are typical of inexpensive knives from a big box store. ie: They look nice. That said, I am very happy with the cases and they serve their function admirably - not to mention showcase my various assortment of knives in an attractive, easily accessible manner. For the money the knives are OK, but if you want knives for food prep, look elsewhere. But the clear case is worth every penny for your good knives. Case = 5 stars. I won't rate the knives because you know what you get for that price - and they do deliver.

It looks nice on the kitchen counter but the quality of the knives is not good. It almost started to form rust nodules after a week. I almost immediately wipe them after washing but still I see some spots. I just almost use it as a decorative piece and don't use it for cutting vegetables anymore. Not strong enough to cut bone-in meats anyways.

Very solid. I purchased this b/c the one we had previously was not an all one piece construction so the hand became loose. Not something I wanna deal with when I'm whacking away at butchering whole chickens for my pup. It came very very sharp.

For the price of this item, I didn't expect to receive the quality that I did. They're very sharp, a good weight and look pretty snazzy in their holder. The ONLY reason I am subtracting a star is because the acrylic stand was (is) cracked but it's not so bad I wanted to go to the hassle of returning an otherwise good product. NOTE: DO NOT let these sit in water nor place them in the dishwasher, they will get rust spots if you do.

washed them once and they rusted, waste of money

Nice heavy cleaver but not too heavy. I like that the handle is part of the knife and can't come loose. I thought it would be a little sharper but I'll try to touch up the edge.

I initially loved these knives. They were sharp and cut well and were easy to clean and came with a stylish holder that sits in the counter. Unfortunately, less than a year later I have noticed that some of the knives are staring to rust. I am very upset that I will have to dispose of them due to this. What a waste of money.

Amazing value, great balance and extremely sharp.I will NOT recommend air drying as it does leave spots and also recommend to wash directly after use. (Common sense) sometimes alludes people.

I got them for the looks as well as function...not very sharp and really for the price I didn't expect them to be...looking for a knife sharpener..

I got these knives to use pretty much daily as I cook our family meals. I've gad them for a long time now, about a year. The paring knife snapped while I was cutting some apples. It was not damaged or rusted before hand. I had had the set for about 6 months. The blade snapped in half and I moved before it cut me. Very dangerous. The bread knife and steak knives work well and no issues with those yet.

This is a beautiful knife set for sure. As others mentioned it is unfortunate that the holder is plastic but you can't expect anything else see through for $25. I really like the fact that there is no handle to break or slip in the future as they are a solid piece of steel. Beware...they are very sharp! Over all this knife set came as expected.Only disappointment is that it is not slanted like traditional blocks. This means if stored on counter under cupboards it is impossible to remove a knife. You must slide the whole stand out first. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars.

This is nice. I have found this has a very sharp edge. Keep this dry. My ideas of a good self Christmas present seem to be coming true. A cleaver which is solid, will not fall apart, although the concrete floor underneath might not keep up. The cutting board is better to be washed in the dishwasher. I like it, I like it.

It’s all one piece of metal so nothing’s going to break or fall off. I mainly use it to lob off and crack open young coconuts and it does that job really well. It has enough heft that it gives you momentum that a chef’s knife doesn’t, but I wouldn’t describe it as heavy.

The set is nice and I would have given 5 starts but in the instructions said that I should wash each knife and the base before use and I didn't. The knives are ok since I dried them immediately but the base kept dried water drops inside the plastics and it looks dirty before I even display it in my kitchen :( Ignore the washing base thing.

They dulled in less then a month and 2 of them broke after only a couple of months. Don't wast your money on these. Spend some money on a good quality set

Love this product, so much I bought a larger set for my daughter. It looks fabulous on counter and I get lots of compliments.

My next door neighbor and I really enjoy each our own, very sharp indeed!
