excellent mic for web-casters or other voice services.
Haven't really tried this recording music, but, so far, I'm impressed by the quality of this. Needed something for use as an announcers/commentator mic for shows and events, and this fits the need perfectly. Clean voice reception without a lot of background noise. The 15 ft cord makes it easy to use when moving around.

Excellent Mic but not as pictured
Note, this does not have "Shinco" written anywhere on the microphone. I had trouble finding it over my other mics. Changed from 5 stars to 4 because of this. Original Review: I was searching for a compact wired microphone (attached) for my travel karaoke system, but with decent sound. So far this is a fit. The wire is attached and light weight, so I don't forget and easy to pack. Looking forward to vacation with karaoke!!!

Plug n Play! Works great!
Works great. Was unsure of the quality due to the cost. But I plugged it in directly into the speaker and made some adjustments to the speaker volume and turned on the switch and yay! Just note- there is no volume adjustment on the microphone. Cord is right length. Highly recommend!

Works, but not well.
The price was pretty low, so I knew I would be getting what I paid for. The construction is solid, it looks nice, but the audio volume that comes from it is weak. I connected it to a personal PA speaker (designed for this purpose), and even at the speakers full volume, the mic is no louder than regular speech level. No feedback could be produced. But when I connected another mic I got immediate feedback, which of course meant a higher mic volume produced. It can work great as a toy, or for younger children so they can't annoy their parents very much. But don't expect much (volume) from this low priced mic.
