The media could not be loaded.  This review is purely on delivery, assembly, and over all first impressions. Nothing of any longevity. That being said...these are so good!-These were not packed with any foam or bubbles to prevent scratching, but each piece was in plastic and packed so snug that I doubt they could have moved enough to cause real damage. Seriously, when you see the box, you'll immediately wonder how in the world 2 lamps are in there. All my pieces were scratch free and in great shape. Thumbs up for smart packing with least amount of waste.-Assembly was beyond simple. Don't let the plate seem daunting. All you do is screw it in, then add the light and screw caps. Whole process took me 10 minutes tops for both. Instructions were simple, but told me everything I needed to know.-These have a matte finish on them, so oils from your hands do show a bit. Just wipe with a cloth after assembly and you're golden.-If you're considering several different options like I was, let me tell you the loose hanging feature is a pro, not a con. Where mine are placed, they have been bumped a time or two already. Rather than a solid fixture that would wiggle loose at the screws after a few bumps, These simply swing and prevent all that.-As shown, the lamps are cord switches, not fixture switches or touch control. The switch is pretty high up the cord in my opinion, but there is a little clip that would allow them to drop maybe an extra couple of inches. The power cord also seems pretty short. They do not dim or have different brightness levels. That being said, the top dome helps direct the light downward so you can both see, but also not have a room lit up like crazy. For bedroom or relaxing ambiance, it's perfect. I could comfortably read by them, yet also still feel quite relaxed.-I plugged both of mine into an extension cord, then plugged the one cord into a smart plug. The plug communicates over wifi to the Alexa, and bam. I can turn them on from anywhere.-I think the only other thing to comment on was the pricing. I believe I paid right at $25 (5% off coupon plus tax), which to me is a total steal for these if they last.Overall first impressions 10/10100% would recommend**9 month Update**Still going strong. They have been bonked several times and haven't scratched or dented. (Goes back to that free swing design.) They are still on the original bulbs I added in. They get used pretty much daily and the smart outlet setup has completely changed the ease and relaxation of our room. No more fighting over who gets up to get the main light switch. No more overly bright overhead as we relax and wind down to sleep. A simple voice command and they're off. I don't think there is anything substantial to note. The only thing that stood out to me was how often they need dusted, but that's typical of anything fixture in black. Overall thoughts are still that these were a total steal and you won't regret the purchase at all.
