This is an ankle sock...photo misleading
The photo makes this sock look much longer than what is actually is. This is an ankle sock. The colors are pretty, but you can tell the fabric is not of good quality.

socks
Ok these socks came in a cute little box. I have a size 9 foot and they are just a little tight. It has turned off cold again in Missouri so have wore these the last two days. The second pair I put on had a hole in it which is a crock for brand new socks. I have no problem darning socks but should not have to for brand new ones. I am now fearful these will all fall apart on laundry day.

Nice
Socks are small, but so are my feet so that's okay. They fit quite nicely on my size seven feet, but if you have feet much bigger than that you'd find these to be too small.

Not Wool!!
These are advertised as 80% merino, but when I got the package the socks are clearly labeled 75% cotton, 20% polyester, 5% spandex. They look the same as the picture, but are not as advertised. I ordered wool socks because I wanted wool socks, not cotton. I'll be returning these.

Wool? Um...
Received these today, and like other reviewers said, they seem a little small - but I still think they fit fine. I'm a womens size 9.5 and they fit snug, but they're socks, I expect them to fit that way. I was disappointed in two things, one that the cuffs on this style have sparkly thread (I'm in my 30s, don't really go for glitter) and that I really don't think this style (stripe, 6pack) are wool. They would be a nice quality cotton crew sock but as a "Super Thick Winter Sock" they fall short. Oh, and a lot of reviewers are also complaining about the height/length and that they are thin. Well I think if they were actually wool they would feel a little thicker, I ordered a mens set in similar style for the neutral colors and they feel MUCH denser knit and, well, more like wool - but they are still somewhat thin. They aren't supposed to be like LL Bean hiking or boot socks, they feel about as thick as a merino wool sweater, which is what I expected. And they are crew height IMO, maybe a little shorter, but they are certainly higher than ankle socks. Anyway, still deciding if I am going to return them for another set of the warmer mens ones. They're still pretty cute, even with the glitter cuffs (ugh). If you are looking for warm winter socks I would go check out the mens version, they run larger too (but not too big). Hope this helps!

My favorite socks
Since I've purchased these socks, I haven't worn any others, I like them so much! I ended up buying 3 sets (bears, cubs and deers). They're soft, fit well (shoe size 8.5), won't sag, and are very, very warm and comfortable. They reach above the ankle, but lower than a regular crew sock. My only (slight) disappointment is the colors: too much pink and pale pink and reddish pink... you get the idea. Otherwise, they're hands down the best wool socks I've ever owned, highly recommended.Oh, and one word about the label: it's all in Chinese, I couldn't understand a single character to confirm/infirm the merino wool content, but it certainly looks, smells, feels and washes like genuine wool.

They're socks. They're pretty, and that's all.
These most certainly are not a one size fits up to size 10 women shoe. I am a size 10 and they are way too tight. They are of a synthetic material so you can expect your feet to work up quite a stink wearing these all day.I should return them but I am too lazy to go through all that hassle for some socks.Which is what Amazon is counting on, no doubt.

Super cute and fits. Larger calves ladies, may be snug.
I loves these. They are super cute. I got them for my sisters on Christmas and I'm going to order another set just for me. My sister wants her own set too so that'll be two more orders. I just wish they were wool and it would be perfect. If you have larger calves like my sisters do, it'll be a bit snug or too snug. But but works out fine for me and I'm a shoe size 7.
