A very nice addition and in a decent amount.Next is echinacea extract, and supplies a whopping 250 mg. Echinacea is touted to be good for the immune system. That being said, I have followed the research on this herb for decades. Even today, opinions are split on just how effective this herb is. I take it, but I can’t say that the science is definitive. Studies that found it to be helpful concluded that It may shorten the length of a cold by as much as a day and aa half.Next is 250 mg grapeseed extract, an antioxidant. It helps boost the immune system, is also good for cardiovascular health and wound healing. Really good for circulation.L histidine, an amino acid is sometimes used for rheumatoid arthritis, allergic diseases, ulcers, and anemia caused by kidney failure or kidney dialysis. It’s a building block for protein.Andrographis (50mg) has been mostly studied for colds, flu, and upper respiratory infections. Andrographis paniculata is used in traditional medicine to treat infectious diseases and fevers. In the lab, it exhibits antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and immunostimulating properties. I am simply saying the amount of some ingredients here (such as vitamin C, D,) is so marginal as to be inconsequential. However, because of the generous amounts of key botanicals and this company’s synergistic formulations, I’m sticking with 4 stars.

In fact, any vitamin or supplement manufactured in Germany must adhere to the strictest purity standards, so you can be assured that the ingredients listed on the label are actually there. In the United States, on the other hand, where the FDA does not regulate the supplements industry, you have to trust the manufacturer's claims. The glass bottle with an aluminum lid adds to the impression of high quality. With this supplement, you get vitamin C, and zinc, a healthy dose of echinacea extract, grapeseed extract (an antioxidant), and more. I take a lot of those supplements separately, so it is nice to see them combined in one product. You get 60 capsules for $27, and with a recommended dose of 2 capsules, you get a one-month supply. It comes down to a little less than $1 per day, which is not too bad, given the quality of the product. Overall, I think this is a supplement to consider, given my previous experience with Clav products and their reputation for quality.

In my world, grapefruit is King of the superfruits. Whether I eat the actual food or take grapefruit extract as a supplement, it always comes through with flying colors for me when it comes to protecting and enhancing my immune system. Better than anything else I've ever tried. Of course, there are other properties that also help a lot and these capsules contain some of those ingredients. These capsules offer an excellent selection of things that keep me in optimum good health and feeling at my best. Easy to swallow and from what I can tell, the only time I get even the slightest bit of a taste, it's that good, clean taste of grapefruit. That only lasts until it's swallowed.From what I can tell, they are clean and I've not at all had any problems with them.The only thing that I don't like is that I think that the price of $39.90 (today's price) for 60 capsules is a bit steep. Though, for what it's worth, you do receive an excellent product that will help keep you in good health.
