Designed for adults. Folds into a chair, so looks neat when folded into a corner. I would not actually sit on it simply use it as an extra bed. I should imagine an adult using this as a chair that, being made of foam, it will eventually dip in the middle, a child should be fine though. There is no back support. Its firm and quite comfortable as a bed, I at 58 years old could sleep on it. If you dont require the head rest, its simple to unzip that section & remove the pillow. The measurements are accurate. I’ve given five stars becauese though I dought it will last longer than a couple of years, its a usable floor matress at an incredible price.Update: I’ve slept on this, found it a little too firm for comfort as a side sleeper. Added a (size single) Panda Hydro Foam Topper, it’s a little larger but only by 4cm, resulting in a perfect nights sleep.

I got this as I have 5 kids, they all like to come and stay and bring their partners, so I looked for a cheap alternative to air beds, since we have broken 3 expensive air beds in the last year!I wasn't sure about this as it seemed a bit cheap, it possibly is, but anyone who has slept on it has said it is nice and comfy to sleep on, not so much as a chair, and I can see how it has been used as a chair the sponge is already starting to dip.If you are looking at buying this, get this one for adults as it has 3 folds of sponge, plus the pillow, don't get the 2 fold one unless it is for a small child.I have to say, the fabric is lovely and soft on it.One thing that lets it down in my opnion, which is no fault of the product itself, is the colour, my living room is pink, orange and purple, so the brown sofa bed has a throw over it, it would be great in nice bright colours!

The matress is excellent to lie on.But after months, it started to become thinner and you can feel the floor.

Ok for 50 quid but has become misshapen after 20 odd sleeps. Duno if I should be expecting better or not !

Light and easy to manouvre in to position/open/fold. Very comfortable to both sit and lie on. Easy to remove covers, which are of very good quality. Worth the money.

I bought this to have a temporary bed for a guest for 3 nights in a small space. Unfortunately, it was very uncomfortable. The guest is a young child so I thought it would be ok. but it wasn't. The material is very, very soft and so lost it's shape immediately. It was unusable as a seat and a bed. The material covering the Z-bed is waterproof but also means it's noisy. We covered it withe 3 bed covers and could still hear whenever the body shifted a little. It didn't suit our needs, we discovered it was a mistake to buy it. So, for these reasons I couldn't recommend it.

This is a sensible size for an occasional seat for an adult, and doubles nicely as a futon style mattress for putting someone up. Ready to move around, open up as a mattress and put back as a seat. Thick enough for the jobs, works well. Happy to have bought this.
