Works, Feels hefty; Support brace is junk that bends with minimal pressure.
Performance is reasonably good on any game @4k 60 that I've run on it.Fans aren't screaming, even maxed out; and keeps it reasonably cool. The 3 fans blow most of the hot air out the sides into the case, rather than out the back.Theres very little clearance between my Noctua heatsink and the backplate, parasitically heating my cpu a bit. The backplate adds about 3mm above a standard slot, so something to be aware of before buying. The brace to support the card is junk. It can't support the weight of the card, and can be bent with light pressure from one finger. The piece of sheet metal needs a few more creases and probably a little heavier weight material to make it strong enough to support the card. I may fabricate something myself bc it is a very heavy card to support partly by the PCIE slot in a vertical orientation. It certainly puts a lot of strain on solder joints and PCB motherboard. The card has no issues other than the junk support. You will have to determine if this card vs AMD is the better value, with the market conditions at time of purchase.

Awesome Video Card
This video card is simply awesome. I know I paid way too much for it but had to have it. The performance is simply outstanding. The rendering and game play is ludicrous. This is definitely overkill for games. Plays anything on max settings and rendering times are cut much shorter thanks to its 24gb of Vram.My only gripe is this. The vram gets hot on the back of the card. Like 110 degrees hot. It is ridiculous. What I ended up doing was buying some 40mm x 40mm x 11mm heatsinks and some 40mm x 20mm fans and put some active cooling directly on the metal backplate. Now the memory is at 88 degrees under full load. It is too bad for tbe cost of this card that simple engineering problems could have been made better. The vram is very fast and hence can overheat and throttle the card if there is no active cooling. Also had to use the performance BIOS flash for the card that is available on MSI website. The bios that comes with the card is meant for quiet but does not kick up high enough to cool the card under full load.Picture attached is under full load pulling 327 watts with a +100 on core and a +1300 on memory.

Little annoyed that this "top of the line" gpu only gives me 100+ fps in 4k / Ultra
This thing is so expensive it should be giving me more fps in my day to day life. Honestly. For 1900 bucks (tax incl.) I want eyes that see in 3D.

What a beast!
I've been running MSI only GPUs now for 10 years solded and this one will be no different from the ones of the pass. Easy to install, very well made and is very much geared from gaming. Very heavy card that comes with a support bracket which is made nicely. One would think with the triple fans the nose would be loud, but their not. I hear the case fans before the GPU and I run everything on 4k.
