Solder in single hard lump - not so useful
In the past I have bought low melt solder for soldering and foolishly bought this. It comes as a single big lump and cannot be used directly for soldering as you need it in a strip form. At room temperature the lump is too hard for cutting. Maybe if you sawed it or heated it up you might be able to get it to a more useful geometry. This review is perhaps more about my understanding than the deficiencies in the product. Oh well don't make the same mistake I did.

Works great
Got this to help with the removal of HDMI ports on game consoles as they usually need a lot of heat to melt the existing solder. This made the job so much easier.

Works great!
Its very good and melts at low temp. The trick to using a bar is to just gently scrap a bit off witht eh tip of the soldering iron. I will order more.
