If you knit socks, just go ahead and get a set (or two)
I was a crocheter but crochet socks are no good, so I was forced to learn to knit if I wanted comfy ones. I learned on these needles and use them exclusively for socks, from the top rib to the heel flap (just knit back and forth, no transferring stitches necessary) to the toes (they get tough at the end but magic loop does the job with 28-32 stitches). I bought two sets, knitting both socks at once is better for remembering # of rows, etc.One weird thing with these: I bought both sets from the same listing (under #2/2.75mm). Both have the laser engraving but one has 4 dots at the end and the other has 3. The one with 4 seems higher quality and the needles are sharper, but the other is nearly as good so I don't think they're fakes. Just an oddity that wasn't worth returning the second pair. I guess, just hope for the 4 dot one as it's slightly better.

If you like metal needles…
If you’re a fan of metal needles, you can’t go wrong with this brand. They’re so sturdy and smooth. If you haven’t tried metal needles yet, give them a try. I love the smoothness.

Love these tiny needles. First time using this brand, wish all my needles were this nice.

Not the same as listing photo
These needles are very difficult and uncomfortable to use. As expected for 9” circulars, right? The reason I bought these besides the fact that ChiaoGoo makes high quality needles, but because the listing photo shows bent needles which I thought would make them easier to use. As you can see in the photo with my review, they’re not bent but are straight instead. So that was misleading. Had I known they were not going to be bent, I would have purchased Addi easy knit needles as the small needle on those is probably about the same size as the needles on these ChiaoGoo but the other, longer needle would have made finishing those project much more comfortable. Thankfully I only needed these for the last 10 rounds of the sleeve of this size 18mo sweater.TL;DR: spend a few extra dollars and get Addi easy knit needles (they have one short and blunt needle one one end and one a little longer and sharper on the other). These ARE nice needles but incredibly uncomfortable to use and they are straight, not bent as shown in the product photo here on amazon.

Eliminate the large columns that you can get from DPNs
I switched to these for the cuff and wrist section of a sweater, instead of DPNs. They are a little fidgety for my long fingers, but the knitting looks so much smoother than when I was using DPNs. Really glad I made the switch. Highly recommend this brand and this cable type.

The top of the line!
I really like these needles! They're very sharp, but hold up nicely. I'm a newly self-taught knitter, so I've not got many needles under my belt. I do like these a lot, though

Perfect sock needles
Excellent small 2.75mm short circular needles. Arrived quickly and was excited to try them straight away. Quite small but easy to use. I have small hands and found them comfortable and light weight with smooth needle tips. It didn’t take long to get used to using these though I’m used to working with five double pointed needles. As you can see in the photo, I’m using these small needles to knit a pair of short socks. I bought these to try out as there are no 2.75mm needles in the brand of DPNs I usually work with. I do recommend this product as I think they’re perfect for knitting up socks. I’m considering ordering this brand of needles again.

Decent needles & worth trying, but a bit expensive.
These needles are actually size 3.5mm. I had the 2.75mm but they were very difficult to hold so I changed to a bigger size. They are only 9" long & so they are tiny little needles & I found them pretty uncomfortable to use. However, I have bought some larger sizes for bigger items ( I used the small ones for socks) & they have been excellent. The red cable is very flexible & the needle points ar sharp. They're a bit more expensive then other needles but I think they are worth it. They're very good needles. I'd just think twice about getting the 9" size because the do make your hands hurt after a while & the 2.75mm were even worse. You've just got to remember that they're tiny needles & you have to hold the delicately. If you grip to hard you'll get cramp in your hands & your fingers will get sore. That was my experience but I've heard other people say they are excellent & the socks were just flying off them so I guess it's just your preference & what you're used to.Overall they are good knitting needles but a little too expensive. I've had cheaper needles (Zing Pro for example) & I think they are just as good.

Great
Item not arrived next day due to postal service Seller refunded me postage as I payed for next day. Needles are good as they don't snag the wool. Will take a while to get used to them being same size needle. I'm used to one of the needles being shorter.

ChiaoGoo Circular Knitting Needles
These 9 inch knitting needles arrived very quickly and I am really impressed with them. They are smooth to use and they do have a slightly longer needle shank than the bamboo type which makes it easier when knitting with sock needles. I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent Needles
These needles are perfect for knitting socks. They are smooth, don’t catch on the join and are a pleasure to use. I would highly recommend them.
