I LOVE THESE SHORTS !!I was a little worried at first with all the different reviews saying size down one and others saying buy your normal size amd some saying size up . Typically I wear a 6-8 depending how it’s made . I am average build 3 kids but just a smallC-cection tummy , I have a little bit of hips . I weigh 145 and 5/4 . Being so confused on what to do with size I ended up not ordering right away not really knowing what size to go with , up a size , down a size or stick with my normal . So for about 3 days lol I just kept going back to this site looking and thinking beating myself up about what to do because I really loved these shorts and thought they were super cute and wanted them very much.Ugh it really was a headache ladies with so many different reviews and I don’t know about anyone else that has ever ordered clothes online rather it be shorts , jeans , bathing suits or tops - Tees or sweaters etc BUT The size charts they list has never I mean never worked for me on any site . Which after going by the size charts on two different items I purchased years ago , I haven’t used or went by online size charts since and have always ended up just going with my gut !! And thank God I did and still do go by gut feeling because since I started using my own intuition about a size , I HAVEN'T once ever had to return a purchase or just suck it up as a loss because everything I have ordered since has Thankfully fit great !With that said , I’m so glad I went with my gut on these though and sized up to a 9 . I was super excited when they arrived and wanted to try them right away !But at first I’ll admit when trying them on I was really worried they were going to be way to big . Because just pulling them up to about my knees I could already tell they were loose and big but Thankfully once all the way up and fastened WHA LA !! Lol yes they are a little big and loose but not so much that is in flattering ! They are just the right amount of loose but still complements my figure .These shorts are very comfortable and roomy. So given they do have good stretch to themI could have easily gotten my regular size and I’m sure they would have fit fine . And I have no doubt they of would fit BUT I do believe even though fitting fine they may of fit more clingy to my thighs but normal /maybe even loose fitting in the waist if that makes since . But I DONT DO tight , snug or clingy clothing.I feel with sizing up they are just right and do not hug my thighs . Which is very important to me when buying shorts .I also love the fact they are high rise so they cover my mommy C-cection tummy .Not to mention for all you moms they are great shorts for being a mom with style . Not to short not to long . Even though my kids are all almost grown 1 is 22 , 18 and almost 15 and I am 41 and refuse to wear older clothes just because I am in my 40’s and have 3 grown children almost . Lol . My kids appreciate their moms style and staying in fashion . Given my age and being a mom I would never wear anything that shows anything or as my older kids would say I’d never wear anything Butt Nasty or coochie cutters .haha 😂I respect myself first and foremost and I respect my husband and kids . These shorts, ladies allow you to still be a fashionable and a classy mom . I love these shorts and are now my new faves and just ordered another pair .If your looking then most likely you like them and thinking of buying ..... JUST DO IT !!!There is no better feeling than being a Mom and being older and still wearing nice fashionable clothing that makes you feel good about yourself . Love these shorts ordered another pair but different style and plan on buying all the other ones from this seller that I like !!

Great fit! Stretchy but not lose when on. So comfortable!

I like the way these fit, and I sized up just to make them not as snug and I prob didn't have to. The fabric is thin, but light for the hot summer months, but comfortable. They wash and wear great! I'm 5'4" and about 170-175. Tomboy Athletic figure.

Perfect fit

I did not expect that these shorts would fit so well. Beware that they are short and not at all modest, but they are perfect for the beach or super casual event.

I ordered a pair of these shorts from another that had these exact same pics of shorts but they had a couple button up ones. I ordered a small and it was too small - so I ordered from this vendor a size medium. The size medium I can pull down without unbuttoning or unzipping them. If I put my hand in the front pocket I can pull them down easily. So I guess I’m in between sizes ? Material is stretchy obviously and comfortable - mid rise and a little short but I prefer my shorts that way. I’ll have to use a belt I guess with these. UPDATE: After wearing these all day, they wrinkle up, I'm constantly pulling them down so my butt cheek isn't hanging out because if your sitting for awhile the hem curls up and they loose their shape. They are thin and cheap really. After washing you might need to iron these...they stretch out after a few hours as well. Doubt they’ll last more than one summer. The best denim shorts are Rock Rival and Miss Me brands. Those are the best shorts you’ll ever buy and will last for years. These suck

Let me start with I HATE wearing shorts and HATE how I look in shorts...so buying them from the internet was a hard decision for me. I read the reviews and figured what the heck, I can always return them if need be. I wanted shorts that were not up my butt and did not cling to my thighs. I am 5'6/155 and larger in the butt/thigh area. I bought a size Large in the Mid Blue color and they are perfect! They are comfortable and VERY flattering for my big ole' thighs! I was not blessed with a thigh gap so every pair of shorts I currently have, ride up my crotch...these do not! They are long enough that they stay where they should even with touching thighs. I love them and I'm considering buying another pair in a different color! Worth it!

Finally, a pair of shorts that aren't high rise!! I can't stand pants like that. These shorts actually sit in my hip bones, below my belly button. I've been searching forever it seems for a real pair of low or mid rise, and thank goodness I saw these.They looked like the picture and are soft and have a little stretch.The only thing I would change if I could, would be the leg opening be a little more fitted around the thigh. But it's not too baggy so I'm ok with it.

Took a chance on these as there was only one review, but I love them! I had not worn jean shorts in years because I could never find a pair that fit well on both the waist and thigh. These are so stretchy at the waist and the legs are fitted but comfortable. I bought an XL.

I am fairly short and average size (typically wear a small or medium) and buying shorts is really difficult because they only ever show them on models who are significantly taller than me and so I usually end up buying, trying on and returning the majority of shorts because they are too big or too long on me or both.FINALLY, finally I found some that were the right fit and still denim with some stretch and also cute! I ended up getting a second pair in a different color because I loved my first pair so much and so far they wash well and keep their shape so they aren't falling down and I like them a lot.Highly recommend especially if you are on the shorter side and don't want grandma shorts!
