Worked great for anchoring a mounting plate to the side of my trailer
The factory-installed mounting bracket for my trailer's slide topper pulled out of the wall. Had to build a metal mounting plate to anchor the bracket, but the mounting plate needed something to secure it to the fiberglass trailer siding. Used these to secure the lower part of the mounting plate to the fiberglass siding and they worked great. Nice, strong anchors that do not pull through the fiberglass.

These nuts work very well, but take some experimenting...
These nuts worked very well allowing me to re-attach a step pad to the running boards on my pickup. I had no clue how I was going to re-attach the step pad until I found these. You must drill a .3/8" hole for these to fit into, even tho they're for a #10 machine screw. They hold very well, but don't over torque the machine screw or you'll strip them out. Go to YouTube to see how to tighten these into place and expand the wings, it's a bit of a trick. You don't need special tools but you'll have to dink around some to get the wings to expand, use a scrap piece of metal the same thickness as your real project to experiment with until you find the right technique. I do think these are quite expensive for what they are, but they work good and they're made in the U.S.A.

Nice hidden anchor
The anchors are easy to use and perfect for blind mounting. Was able to repair a costly chest using these anchors to secure the chest lid rather than replace the chest for hundreds of $$$. Was not able to find anything like this at any of our many hardware stores. Got a pack of 20, only needed about 6 anchors so have plenty spare to fix something else in need.

These are a steel insert. I used them to install a clothes rod in my travel trailer. If you have the correct tools to install they work fabulous. I would drill the holes a little smaller than what is called out that way the insert won't walk around in the hole. Here is a link for specs on all the sizes: [...]

Better than sheet metal screws
These worked great for securing my Jeep hard top to the windshield. These work way better than metal screws.

so if you are going to use these and dont have a tool it would be a good idea to purchase one
I needed to fasten some items in a blind spot, I used the 10-24 and also the 1/4-20 and both did the job I was looking to complete. I did have the tool to set int insert. so if you are going to use these and dont have a tool it would be a good idea to purchase one.
