I bought this as part of a reward system for my kids. It came as described and my kids are excited to use them.

It is working very well with my 6 and 8 years old to reinforce good behavior. Just be careful with kids that still puts objects in their mouths because the paint in the coins wears off easily which could be potentially toxic. Also, the jar is made of glass.

I ordered these as Kindness Counters for my 1st Grade class. There were a few other listings for just the coins but I liked that these came with the jar and lid. However, I cannot use the jar because it came with a hole smashed through the glass. There is no damage to the box it was delivered in and the jar was inside bubble wrap. I’ll have to find another jar for the kids to put them in, which means I would have been better off buying one of the cheaper versions that just had the coins.

I got mine in today and noticed that with the colors I have they are random in quantity the blues have five but gold have 26 purple has 11 it’s so random I wanted all the same of each color using for reward with my kids and have such a difference in quantity i now have to purchase more to start my reward system

With all the positive reviews I saw, I like to get this one for my 3 years old for encouragement and think this is a great idea. I really think the quality is not worth it. When I first saw it, more than half of the tokens’ edge are missing paint and just by looking at the jar without taking them out to check, a few of them have bigger area that are missing paint other than the edge. If it is only the appearance problem, I won’t return it. But the missing paint part actually are sharp edges (not smooth out) I understand how to make these tokens, and I honestly don’t like the missing paint, but this isn’t the deal breaker. I would just keep them if the edges aren’t sharp.

I got these for my children to help as incentive for getting chores done in trading for cash. I was so excited with all the different colors we could make it really interesting. However when the package arrived I opened it and the jar was completely shattered and useless. I requested a replacement. If this one comes shattered I will demand a refund
