Perfect Integration to Furuno TZT3
Ironically, all of the 'low cost' cameras available on AMZ (that I tried) have MUCH HIGHER security settings (mandatory strong passwords for all accounts) than does the Axis brand (which is also much higher cost comparably speaking).Furuno camera integration mandates a fixed user ID and simple password to seamlessly integrate with the TZT2/3 MFD's over ethernet. Setup following Furuno's guidelines (designed for Axis) was very straightforward and virtually plug n play when I connected everything together. Once connected, the video of my engine room, even in pitch black was sharp and clear. Very happy with this camera and the ease of integration.While testing, I also successfully connected this camera to an Amcrest NVR (very simple) and I'm confident the recording would have worked perfectly. However, I never added the drive and returned the NVR as I'm going in a different direction on my boat.
