Beautiful nesting dolls! I gave this set to my 4yo niece for Christmas, and she is thrilled w/ them. I examined them carefully before she received them and determined that the craftsmanship is very good. The painting is lovely and much better than I expected. The largest doll was difficult to open for the first several tries so I rubbed a bar of soap around the edges of both pieces once it was opened, and that seemed to solve the problem. The wood quality is nice and sturdy and I could detect no chemical odor. Although my niece is careful, she is just four and has dropped them many times by now. So far, no damage has occurred. She likes them so much that she plays with them tirelessly every day, and clearly has much fun doing so. Whoever crafted this set was a true artisan. I highly recommend this product.

I read many reviews on these dolls and decided to purchase them. When they arrived I was impressed with the lovely paint job and matte finish. I bought these for my young granddaughter and she was thrilled with them. They come apart easily enough for a 4-year-old to open, but are snug enough to hold together. Highly recommend!

Really a beautiful gift.At first I was really annoyed because the shipping was delayed, but it ended up coming earlier than expected and in time for Xmas. Intriguing and quality product.

Much larger than expected, good craftmanship on the two outer dolls, then decreasingly so-but well made overall, and very pretty with the beautiful green color, small touch of gold, and wood burning. Very happy they all close and open easily.

Not sure what they mean by "sheerness," but this was a fun gift for my daughter. The biggest thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't feel smooth on the outside, like it needs some kind of clear finish on it. But they're beautiful nesting dolls! And beware, getting them wet ruins them (my son, who's a baby, got ahold of them and slobbered on them 😭 so now some don't fit together. They might when the wood completely dries again.)

The colors are vibrant, and the details are exceptional on these nesting dolls. Perfect for my use in teaching an object lesson to students (with all the layers and sizes).

My daughter has been bugging me to buy nesting egg we find these . They are very pretty she has them on her dresser as decor They are very detailed

The hand painting and wood burning was nice, but the wood itself of the doll was cheap. I worried it would crack if i handeled it too much. The tops slip off a little too easily. It will all come apart if you don't pick it up from the bottom.
