Glentronics, Inc. B-1000 PHCC Pro Series Standby Battery

Wonderful!!! Its only been one day since i set it up, but it was sooo simple for me, especially since i have never changed out a sump pump battery before! It comes with one page of simple instructions (with pics), with like 4 easy steps. I ran to Home Depot right after reading the instructions, bought my battery acid and some gloves, filled up the 6 chambers as instructed (very simple, not hard AT ALL like many reviews i have seen made it out to be, you just have to be careful), popped in the electrical Pin Sensor from my Watch Dog computer thingy, and it went straight to work!!! I will say, inorder to get the sensor pin through the top-hard plastice, i did have to use a knife to start the hole, but once i got the Pin in, my Watch Dog Computer was reading 100% battery and all the right lights were on telling me how much it loved this new battery! To test this out i simply unplugged my main pump, and waited about 5min, and sure enough this back-up battery kicked in right away!!! Im so happy i purchased this battery! We had a Watch Dog Battery before this one that just kept on sucking (thats in a bad way, NOT in a Pump Way! lol!) setting off the backup computer that would beep non-stop with blinking lights that had a different reason each time why the battery was sucking!!! I did keep the Watch Dog Computer Sensor, as it does work amazing, not sure where they went wrong with there batteries though??? All in all i am thrilled with this purchase, from the simple set-up, to it working great from the start, and the PRICE IS AMAZING compare to most i have seen (Actually COMPARED TO ALL I HAVE SEEN!)! I will be keeping everyone updated with the progress of this battery, if it starts sucking like the "Watch Dog" Battery, trust me YOU GUYS WILL KNOW!!! :) Until then this get my 5-Star approval, after all, I have a $10,000 Theater system in my man cave that i gotta protect, this battery is my back up savior in a worse case senerio!:D

Good product. Working to support backup sump pump system in basement. Operating for several months as static backup with one use and no complaints on performance.

I used this battery for a sump pump back up system. Within 4 months my system monitor is telling me the battery is not holding a charge. Bad choice. Bad product.

You have to go to a battery outlet to fill the battery up before use.....just fyi

Battery only lasted 1.5 year. It was advertised to last 5-7 years?????

Perfect replacement for my ridiculously expensive watchdog batteries. Great alternative at half the price.

I was able to purchase this and save about $60 over comparable replacement batteries for my sump pump. Note that you will have to source battery acid as this ships dry and filling it wasn't a very fun process, but not bad. Tested and worked straight away!

Battery was received on time and packaging was great. The battery did not come with a cap to insert the battery tester stick. I contacted Glentronics and they shipped one free of charge. Battery is charging like a dream. No more worries about the power going out and having no sump pump.
