WORKS WELL
TestI bought the model for Maserati vehicles.I have a 2016 QUATTROPORTE GTS, which didn’t come with Apple CarPlay to begin with - it’s the HARMAN KARDON unit.I installed made for my car CarPlay module from NAV-TOOL (NAVUCT4.0-APPLE-CARPLAY+UCTLS) and installed it myself - note that Navtool Tech support was meek at best, but it was mid 2020 and they claim they did te have staff. So I’ll DIGRESS for a bit to explain how this ADAPTER HELPED SOLVE SOME of the WOES created by the NAVTOOL CARPLAY MODULE:NAVTOOL (NVT) MODULE, while ‘plug and play’ for my car, it is not a 100% integration because it works with the STEROS ‘AUX’ INPUT (that little headphone hole) vs the BLUETOOTH input, so, if you want to have ‘as close’ to full CARPLAY integration, you have to operate the NTV module using stereo’s AUX INPUT.Unfortunately, AUX INPUT is ANALOG, and represents about a 30-40% downgrade in AUDIO QUALITY, plus u then CANT CONTROL CARPLAY USING STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS (song skip, Siri, dictation, etc); not to mention you also have a similar DROP IN CALL AUDIO QUALITY (these cars have AMAZING CALL NOISE CANCELLATION TECH, so most people think you are calling from a VERY QUIET ROOM IN YOUR HOUSE).The WORKAROUND to USING AUX INPUT, AND THE COMPROMISE, is to forget about using CARPLAY via the AUX INPUT, and continue to use your iPhone’s Bluetooth connection to connect to CAR STEREO DIRECTLY, which allows MUSIC STREAMING & CONTROLS + CALLS from the stereo. This enables full feature control from steering wheel and DIGITAL MUSIC SOUND & CALL QUALITY.THE CON to this WORKAROUND, is that every time you TURN ON the car, the APPLE’s CARPLAY SOFTWARE, auto routes all phone sound connections to NTV’s MODULE (as it’d make sense), but unfortunately, NTV’s MODULE, routes all sound to the AUX INPUT: so EVERY TIME you have to manually select to route MUSIC to BLUETOOTH on the PHONE, or PRESS & HOLD the VOICE button on the steering wheel - that’s not too bad because you only need to do it once during each drive session. However, for CALLS, you have to ROUTE CALL AUDIO from the CARPLAY OPTION (which as we know goes to ‘AUX’) to the BLUETOOTH ‘EVERY’ SINGLE CALL - and not just ONCE, BUT TWICE: first to hear call RINGING, and ONCE MORE whenever USER ANSWERS THE CALL - MAJOR PAIN and SAFETY HAZARD.ADDITIONAL CONS are that AUDIO for any OTHER NOTIFICATIONS (like a TEXTS, WAZE, e-mail, even SIRI talkback) WONT BE HEARD because it will be routed by the Apple’s CarPlay software to the CarPlay connection, which is the AUX INPUT you can’t hear while on BLUETOOTH SOURCE.SO, ALL THIS RUNABOUT is to tell you that INSTALLING THIS WIRELESS ADAPTER fixed my 2 BIGGEST GRIPES from the NAVTOOL WIRED CARPLAY MODULE: now from the moment the phone connects, it not only CONNECTS THE BLUETOOTH AUTOMATICALLY, but it ALSO AUTOMATICALLY ROUTES THE CALLS TO BLUETOOTH - yayyyyyyy. Regular texts and other notification still will be routed to the CARPLAY AUDIO (i.e. AUX INPUT I can’t hear), but that’s still a great UNEXPECTED IMPROVEMENT.WIRELESS UNIT INSTALLATION did have a couple of hiccups (stereo touch screen wouldn’t work, but restart fixed it - I think I wasn’t understanding/following installation instructions correctly anyway), but after that this WIRELESS CARPLAY ADAPTER has been solid. The one item to note, IN MY CASE, is that if you REMOTE START CAR without phone being present, it does throw things OFF, and the I have to manually SWITCH TO BLUETOOTH. So I stopped remote starting.PS: I also bought a KOTOO MAGSAFE CAR WIRELESS CHARGER & BASE (B08XJTMHFK) here on Amazon, and it’s only a 7.5w charger for iPhone, but among the many MagSafe wireless chargers I bought to try, this was the most stylish and blended seamlessly (got black model) into the interior for my car. It has the option to install on A/C Vent, but that’s not a classy installation - I highly recommend the base instead, and it’s more sturdy.Good luck

Wireless CarPlay wonder.
I really like how fast this connects to my phone. I will say that when my fiancé is in the car it does have a bit of trouble selecting which phone to connect to even though I selected mine to be the primary phone. Haven’t had many other issues besides that. My only gripe, and this is not exclusive to this product, is the delay in Bluetooth playback. But that’s expected.

Super Happy!
This thing works great! Instructions were unclear, but setup was actually fast and easy.I installed in my EV6, which oddly, only has wired CarPlay.Wireless CarPlay now launches automatically after start. I've heard about some lag/delay using CarPlay with some adapters, but I don't notice any with this one. Perfect!

Mala conexión
Funciona bien un tiempo corto, durante el camino se desconecta en varias ocasiones y cuando está conectado tiene bastante delay, es el más costoso del Mercado y no llenó mis expectativas.

I can use Apple Play without plugging in my iPhone.

Not good
I used this for two weeks and it worked great. Now it keeps going in and out. I just tried to return it but I’m out of the window by five days.

Carlinkit
Carlinkit seems to work most of the time; the first thing I had to do was get a reliable cable to hook it to my 2021 Jeep 4Xe. I’d like to know if anyone else has the same problems I have: It takes just a bit for it to connect to the ‘Bluetooth’, and then periodically it drops off, but reconnects itself; I first went to my Jeep dealership to see if it was in the USB connector (both did the same thing). They assured me it was alright, but I’m not so sure. I’m kind of ‘grabbing at straws’ trying to figure out where the problem is.
