This omnibus comprises both the Thanquol and Lord of the End Times novels originally published in a series of 5 with tie ins from Gotrek and Felix alongside Malus (Which was included in the Doom of the Elves omnibus). There aren't any short stories added onto this one,but both of the novels are really enjoyable rides with the final one providing some bittersweet moments for fans of the Old World alongside the pulse pounding action. The pacing can be all over the place at times, but for me that added onto the frenzy of such a beloved setting tragically biting the dust. At least Sigmar's still around to kick Chaos tail in the new iteration!

Arrogance in the face of his brilliance is not to be tolerated.
Wow. This book may be unprecedented in literary history. Has anyone, ever, destroyed their entire created universe and all of its characters in one catastrophic instant? I do not know, but this seems unique and gutsy to a degree I have never seen before. This omnibus contains two books: The Rise of the Horned Rat (my favorite!) and The Lord of the End Times. No filler, no short stories, no preamble, just some solid fantasy fiction that still clocks in at around 800 pages. I have loved Warhammer books for years now, but always considered the fantasy arm of the franchise to be lesser than the science fiction. The End Times series has changed that, this end to the classic fantasy universe has achieved the heights of epic story telling on par with the Horus Heresy. Wow.

Get it for Queek
My favorite of the three omnibuses. Mostly due to Queek and Skarsnik. Great characters, I'd love to read more about. The actual end of the world, not so good. Teclis, ugh.
