The plug seems too big inside for the factory plug and when you connect them it is loose inside. Also one did not “lock” in with the tab correctly.

This product made installing my speakers so easy. Loved how I didn't need to cut anything. Would buy again. Got it faster than site said.

This worked out with a bit of work. The 08 Tacoma factory plug snapped in as expected, however the connector terminals on my new Rockford Fosgate 6x9 speakers were wider than the provided connectors. Even with the provided wire length being too short in my opinion, I was able to cut the ends and attach new ones that fit. Worked out. The length of the wires are way too short overall. I was amazed they actually reached when I was done w/ the revision. They should definitely add another 6 inches or so onto the length of the wires. Wire's cheap, right?! I can see this being a show stopper / modification for many.

The adapter may fit other locations on the Highlander, but the dash 3.5" speakers have a 4-wire connector. Looking at the other speakers in the vehicle, they all have 2-wire plugs. I really wanted this to work since it's so inexpensive and feels well made. Bummer.

these were returned immediately but, they were identical to the ones I used. (bought this package when I lost one connector...) before I returned them though, a comparison showed them to be identical to the other package I had purchased. the only difference was the color of the wire and the color of the butt connectors. they would work perfectly.
