I was nervous after reading all of the negative reviews about this water bottle, but decided to take a chance since it was only $17 when I purchased it compared to other brands that are closer to $100.I've been pleasantly surprised! Had this water bottle for over a month and it's still on the same charge from when I first bought it and plugged it in. It actually works, too. The tap water at my office kept making my throat itchy, and I no longer have any issues after running that water through the bottle's UV light. It doesn't help with the taste, but that's to be expected since there's no filtering component.I'm glad I took a chance — it's a great value. I bought one for my wife, but she hasn't used it yet. I figured that if the light ends up not working, I still have a bottle that keeps water nice and cold and I can buy a replacement for a small fraction of the competitors out there.

Great unit, just charge it up before you leave the house. Only gripe is it adds weight. Most backpackers would not bother with it and rely just on their water filter. I like it.

I recently bought and received this water bottle and decided to try tap water. Now, I’m very weary about something like this. I know UV is powerful and can kill germs and whatnot, but tape water? Come on. I can understand streams and rivers, but tap water has all these chemicals like bleach and fluoride and who knows what else in it, so I’m more than weary.I am now changing my review of the bottle as all the negative reviews about this product are true. One, they do not respond to support emails. They responded once and I asked them another question and they did not answer that one at all. So I sent them another email telling them to please respond as I have another issue with this water bottle. We will see and I will report back here with another update.Now, after only a week, my water bottle cap is blinking green and purple and will no longer clean the water at all. At this point, I decided that it probably needs charging. After only one week? On a full charge? Nah, I said, they said it would last a month at least on one charge in their claims, didn't they? Oh well. I plugged it in and looked at the cap. Nada. No red light showing that it is charging. Nothing.So, all the negative reviews about this product are indeed true. #1, they don't respond to emails. #2, the cap stops working after an extremely short period of time. #3, it no longer charges after an extremely short period of time.Final review of product: DO NOT BUY! Save your money and buy another bottle from another company. I doubt this company will reimburse me with my 20 dollars (it was on sale and now I know why) and I am sure they will not send a replacement or at the very least, a replacement cap, which I can almost guarantee will also be defective, much like their whole line of products. Very poor company. VERY bad product. I will never buy another bottle from them again.

This bottle feels quality. It is heavy enough to demonstrate substantial quality and light enough to grab and go. I like drinking from it. Maybe sounds silly but its feels clean and good quality where it meets the mouth. I like stainless steel to drink from and this version feels clean and good.The top screws on and the whole thing feels solid. In the month I've used it, I've used the cleaning light 5 days a week and it's still on the first charge. Be good to the battery (charge it per instructions) and it'll be good to you.

The water bottle with UV light give me safe drinking water. Its small, portable and easy to use. It purifirs This saves me ftom buying bottled drinking water. It takes minutes to process a bottle of water. I have two bottles which are used to providr my daily supply of drinking water. As soon as one is empty its filled and processed again. I store the processed water in a glass bottle in the refrigerator. YThis is a wonderful appliance.
