They actually go through difficult practice problems. Equations needed are made clear in the chapter. Does have info buried in the text regarding some things, so take some time to read. Just finished thermo 2, which covered the 2nd half of the book. So I've gone through the book in its entirety at this point.

For a textbook this is really great. The equations are separated from the text making them easy to read and to find, and the examples are very helpful.

Actually a decent intro textbook to thermo. This is only SI units though so make sure your instructor isn’t going to ask you imperial questions before you purchase.
