Product registration is flawed

This is my second unit. I got 6 years from the first unit and have always been happy with the cleaning ability.

Used only half a dozen times, was great for cleaning pet hair. When emptied the vacuum bin I put the lid down and it wouldn't close small parts popped out and I could no longer use. Waste of money since I only used 6 times.

This Robotic vacuum is a pretty decent tool for daily cleaning. Remember what you are buying, this doesn't replace a normal vacuum. If you have dirt on carpet this vacuum will not pick it up, If you have a shaggy carpet expect this robot to basically only pick up dust. I have found it great for daily cleaning, just to pick up any messes made while cooking on tile flooring (example: spilled a little rice on the floor the other day, got lazy and decided to just use the remote to control the robot where to clean up and click 'spot' where it will rotate in a circle and clean). Speaking of the controls, the vacuum as a few modes that help it clean a room, I have found the vacuum can't reach everywhere in the room due to having a lot of objects to navigate around. Primarily I will control the vacuum and click spot or for a larger rectangle part of the room put it on mode 4 (which makes it go zig zag across the room), so if you have a really empty hard floor/tile room this vacuum is perfect to pick up everything.

I had a rumba for over 6 years it does. I purchased this one. Very small dirt chamber, hard to empty have to remove filter and another item every time. Hard to get back together. When it’s full it keeps running. My other one went back to its home station. I would not recommend.

Anyway, I have always been interested in purchasing a robot vacuum, but never seemed to be able to pull the trigger - mostly due to the price. Then I came across this one, lesser priced one that boasted all of the same features as some of the more well-known (more expensive brands), so I decided to try it out. And it did not disappoint. It is a little clumsy at first as it trys to map out your house, so be patient and don't get discouraged. I would say by use 3 you'll be rockin' 'n' rollin pretty good. You'll see that it's starting to "get" where and where not to go. SUPER COOL, all you have to do is hit the "home" button and it will find/figure out where it's charging station is and go attach itself. The more you use it, the better it works. I use it every day... so easy to press the button and just let it go. It is sooooooo... satisfying cleaning out the little dust trap too. I can't say enough good things... so if you're like me and are on the fence... just try it out...you'll be pleasantly surprised.

We have had two previous robot vacuum cleaners which we liked OK because we didn't have to do the vacuuming ourselves, although their rollers needed to be cleaned often. They both stopped working after about 1 year. This one doesn't have rollers and instead just sucks up all the dust and dirt. We have used it once on a berber carpet and it worked well and then also on our rooms with wood floors with oriental carpets and it was great. It got the particles up better than the two previous cleaners. We have only used it twice. We do not bother with programming it, but just let it travel around randomly. We have not used the mop feature since both areas have rugs.

This vacuum struggled going from hardwood or tile to a regular basic carpet. It lacked power needed to get itself over thresholds. It also would struggle to find its home. It was right there within 5 square feet and went around it for minutes before docking itself. I returned this item.
