Sturdy and easy to use!!

These tongs are great. I find them to be the perfect thing to use to get all the goodies from some food packaging such as liquid cheese or gravy you have heated up. Grip the package a corner clamp the tongs below your grip and slide it down the package to remove product fast and easy. I use them to pick up an place food cooking as well. The silicone coating seems very durable and and have been using for months now and no issues at all.

I’m not sure why they’re called trivet tongs, but my job for them will be turning and rearranging small pieces of food that are frying in a non-stick skillet. They are very nice looking, very well made, nice and long, and easy to operate. Also, there’s no chance that they could ever damage a non-stick surface.However, I wish the tips were less slippery and more “grabby”. The entire tong body is silicone with, I believe, a metal core. This silicone covering is less than ideal for the tips. Food tends to slide right off when you try to move it or turn it over while it’s cooking. Maybe if just the tips were made of a harder plastic - nylon or something - that had tooth-like ridges on them, they would work better.I’ll probably learn to deal with their slipperiness, because other than that I like them a lot.

I love the idea of these, but they do need to be a little more robust, especially at the tips. They hold up well being silicone, and they're a great theory, but a slightly stronger core would help a ton to make them more stable when using.

I have non stick pans so the steel one wouldnt work. These were going to be great. Unfortunately they couldn't grab the thin chicken breasts i was cooking...they would just slip. I tried them again and they just won't grab and hold. Disappointed.
