Taking away two stars because of the ending
This hyped me up for the ending. Well written fun book with a vengeful protagonist. Her story telling and choice of words was so entertaining and I was waiting for her to get the closure. The rightfully deserved closure, but the ending snatched away the closure not just from the protagonist but also the reader. It was unnecessary and a bad way to add a twist. I read it in two days, only to come to an ending that I despised. Worst way to end a book. I'll not recommend.

What did I just read?
Oh My God! It's dark, witty, and Lough out loud funny. I enjoyed it very much until I wasn't. It holds you on the edge and drive you nuts. And I love you Bella for this masterpiece but what the hell? Ending is something that it'll take a few feel good reads to process. It's 5 star read for sure. But I'm taking that one star for that nerve wracking ending.

A Delightful Spree
A lot of fun to read. Gets rid of all the cobwebs, at least for me. The narrator is a cynical young woman who does not care much for humans, and even less for her own human family. She lives and does as she thinks she should; all of it is thoroughly more-ish for a reader. There are sequences, scenes and situations which make our brains, eyes and ears pop, and every moment is an unusual delight. Congratulations to Bella Mackie.

WHAT.DID.I.JUST.READ?
WHAT.DID.I.JUST.READ? Pros: I absolutely adore Mackie's character development as a whole, but especially the MC, Grace. I love her raw, to-the-point, analytical, detached demeanor. I love how original the plot is, how despite being intricate, it's still easy to follow, and just how creative executing six murders can really become. Well... "Six murders". Both the number and acts themselves are debatable. Read it and you'll see for yourself. I also love how the "fourth wall" is broken at times. Overall, Mackie knows how to WRITE. Cons: I always do a pros/cons format, but it's rare for me not to find any cons to speak of. I'd say if you're not a fan of dark and twisty, this might not be a book for you, but then the title itself should tell you as much, so this isn't really a con at all. Conclusion: if you're sick of the standard murder stories, read this. If you're hankering for an original MC and plot, your chances of liking this are high! P.S.: I never buy before I read, but after reading 4 chapters from the library, I ordered this book. Absolutely no regrets and am very pleased to have it in my personal library!
