This is a neat product for science fun
It’s neat to watch it destroy different metals and see the way it switches from liquid to solid. Don’t get it on your cell phone or it will literally melt . It’s neat but needs to be handled carefully in case computers or anything metal is around. Try it, it’s fun.

Good quality, good design
Neat stuff - and more of it than I expected (that's a good thing!). The containers are a good design - easy to open, close securely, easy to pour when the gallium is melted.I could not get the gallium to melt in my hand, when it was in the tube. I put it in warm water, and it melted quickly - hence my appreciation for the design of the containers.Just a head's up, though - where the gallium sits in your hand, or flows to/from, it leaves a grey trail behind. It is easily rinsed off, but doesn't wipe off well (needs the water). If you're old enough to remember what mercury felt like in you palm, gallium is not quite the same - it doesn't have the same surface tension, and doesn't bead up - it will flow away if you don't keep your hand cupped.

Gallium is great fun
Product arrived three days after ordering. Good quality.Beware, melted Gallium tends to get everywhere and stain things. It can damage metal, especially aluminum. However, it is nontoxic, and will wash off your hands with hot water and some scrubbing.

Cool magic metal that unlike m&ms, melts in your hands
This stuff is pretty cool. If you don't already know, gallium melts at roughly body temperature, so you can melt a solid piece of metal in the palm of your hand. It's what you're seeing when magicians do the "coffee/soup so hot it melts the spoon" trick. I think I've even seen spoon shaped molds on Amazon as well, for that purpose. In it's liquid form, it looks like mercury, adding to the coolness factor. Another interesting thing is that even though it won't harm you from handling it, it will eat through aluminum if in contact. I'm not sure of other metals. It'll also leave your hands a little dirty after handling it for a length of time, kind of like a charcoal colored residue, but it washes right off. Not sure of any reason you'd buy it here other than to mess around with, but I know it's used in a number of electronics manufacturing processes. It sure is fun to mess with, though.

Odd Element
It's a generous amount. Not a toy. Not suitable for unattended children.Reminded me of that book "Camelot 30K" by Dr. R. L. Forward.

Very cool but VERY VERY VERY messy and will dirty your walls, furniture, and anything that your hand touches after playing with this, even after washing hands. I make my son play with it on the grass.

Fun
My science loving daughter loved playing with this. Melted in her hand. She is a senior in High school so she knew not to eat it. Smaller kids should really have supervision
