The Ninja Gaiden master collection is definitely worth it for any Ninja Gaiden fans, or just any gamer who enjoys the gameplay of the Dark Souls, Devil May Cry, or Neoh games. The Neoh series is of course made by Team Ninja, who are the same people who made these games. If your a Ninja Gaiden fan who's been wondering if the master collection is worth it, well I'm going to say it totally is!Out of all the games in the master collection, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is the one that shines the most. Because it easily is just the best entry in the Ninja Gaiden series to date. It looks great, especially this version, and plays just as great as the previous version of Sigma 2, But even better since there's no slowdown whatsoever in these games.In terms of the playstation 3 version and the one In this master collection, this one is no dout the much better way of playing the game. For one the loading times in all these games have been almost completely removed, even when picking up items and scrolls, which is a relief. There almost non-existent in fact. Which is great because they were a pain to sit through in the ps3 versions. And all the slowdown which was a big problem in the original xbox 360 version of Ninja Gaiden 2, and even in Sigma 2 for the ps3 are gone. In Sigma 2 it was most notable in the tag team missions mode for ps3, in fact the slowdown was so bad in some of them they were almost unplayable.But that crap is all gone from these games. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 also has some new features which have been taken from Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus for the ps vita. Ninja race mode is an all new mode from it, and even the tag missions mode has been improved from the ps3 version. Plus it has some new costumes. Of course aside from that, this remastered game just looks great and plays great.Overall the Ninja Gaiden master collection is a must have for anyone who is a fan of Neoh, or the Souls games, despite it geting mixed reviews from the critics. These games all have an extraordinary level of difficulty, but this sort of difficulty would be appreciated by Dark Souls or Bloodborne fans.

Many people complain that ninja Gaiden is difficult ( if you don’t choose hero mode) button mashing will get you NO PLACE. This game at its core is about being a ninja dodging, blocking, and attacks are the fundamental keys to victory the first game is hard even on hero mode( couldn’t get past the helicopter like I said before) the second game in the collection is the best (insanely easy on hero mode and is very good graphic wise) the third game is mostly just kill enemies and go into another area that is stupidly small (ninja Gaiden 3 is sadly the weakest of the series but it’s here for the collection.
