It's OK, but... The light output is great, but I would have preferred the LED oriented square to the horizontal, not 45 degrees off. This isn't a huge deal. It is heavy, but I expected that. I doubt that the light output is as high as advertised, but more than adequate for most purposes. The headlamp is not padded where it meets your head except at the edges. 2/3 of the light housing is had plastic where it meets your head. There is a particularly annoying hard plastic strip at the bottom of the light that rubs. I suppose I can find something to pad it with, but it would be nice if the manufacturer actually used this for 15 minutes before finalizing the design. The battery compartment is held shut only by a not well fitting flexible rubber sheet. I think the batteries should stay in as long as it is on your head. The straps holding it on your head are quite tight, and cannot be loosened. The can be tightened if you have a pinhead. Altogether not very comfortable. I really don't understand the 5 star reviews except that the price is good.

Well worth the money for the price of it. Very bright when fully charged, start to dimm down depending on how you use it. It started to dimm down about 5 hours later when i was using it for fishing on the jetties occasionally turning it on to cast my line or bringing a fish in. By the mornings it still had juice left. It has a zoom feature if you need to focus on something. Overall i was satisfied with it and i think they are better than the ones you get a walmart.

Update: 8/18/2020Light started coming on for no reason and draining the battery. This has happened several times in a month.Fits well, bright light, and the bonus of rechargeable batteries makes this a great light to have in the garage.

Bought this to replace a Maxthon head light. This headlamp closely resembles the Maxthon but the performance lags behind. Definitely not as bright and battery lifeis shorter. Also the settings are bright-low-and strobe. Strobe is almost useless for a headlamp IMO. It is however 1/2 price of the Maxxeon.

This headlight is great! Better than expected and the batteries alone would cost as much as the complete light did. I was a little concerned about the weight but it is balanced out very nicely and you hardly know it's there.

Use these on my hard hat at work. Second time around for this guy. Highly recommend. First one broke when my hard hat fell off while I was on a 10' ladder. Super bright and batteries last a decent amount of time between charges. I have multiple 18650's so I always have spares. Use the charger plug that comes with it or you can toss the batteries in a stand alone charger.

Everything is good so far except for the comfort factor. As other reviewers note, there is very little padding and the band is tight. This headlamp gets uncomfortable fast.

Ordered this model headlight first May of 2018, has been absolutely excellent so when I needed another for our motorhome, I ordered the exact same one. That's where the similarity ended. Charged the new one in excess of 24 hours, and I'm disappointed the new one is nowhere close to as bright. Don't get me wrong it is bright, however definitely not as bright as what I expected.
