MaxonReissue Series OD808 Overdrive

I've owned several when they had the ts10 buffer that were too bright. The new buffer brings it more in line with the ts9 sound.Standard bud box size which is great. Build quality seems good. Three simple knobs make it easy to set.It cleans up a little better than the 9 series because of the higher voltage cutoff of the diodes. It will still get the chunkier gain so versatility is increased. Volume is adequate. You can still push a non-master amp into oblivion.

Sounds just like any other green box OD pedal but made in Japan and cheaper than most offshore Tubescreamers. Built like a tank. You'll pass this onto your kids.Sounds great in front of a Mesa Rectoverb :)

El precio vale la pena totalmente, lo use con mi head marshal dsl1 y hace lo que promete, no mete nada de ruido al subir el drive, venía de usar un boss sd1 que metía ruido al subir el drive. De verdad es el mejor overdrive que he probado. La caja totalmente sellada, el pedal totalmente nuevo. Super recomendado 👌

Beautiful sounding overdrive pedal, sounds the same as the Ibanez TS808, extremely sturdy build and included a 9v battery ! Top marks from me
