I really wanted to love this book. I have everything that's ever been published about Williams. And of course this book is oversized, hardbound, and the quality is excellent.But he's really dialed back the detail in some of his more recent work. A few of the paintings are just outstanding--classic Williams. I'd pay for the book all over again just for those. But the rest resemble his ZAP comics years, only painted in tonally muted oils. Just a single frame of brilliance and not the over-the-top brain explosion that is Williams when he's at his best.

It's a superbly printed book great paper stock and vivid colors.Robert Williams is the Grandfather and The GodFather of the photorealistic surreal painting movement, and he is truly the first artist to ever render chrome in color that looks better than the real thing.The art featured does a great job of bringing the viewer up to speed with what Rockin' Bob is up to these days, and is fully worth the freight just for that.

An excellent large-format hardback book presenting the work of one of the masters of Pop Surrealism - Robert Williams.It`s a fairly slim volume, but the colour plates are large and detailed with supporting drawings and (as one would expect from Williams) good supporting texts on each artwork.A number of sculptural works are also included.It broadly covers work from 2010-14 with one painting dated 2001.Another good volume on this fascinating artist and a good introduction if one is discovering his work for the first time.

Esta bastante bien aunque no es un gran libro, tiene pocas ilustraciones ,te deja con ganas de mas. Pero lo volvería a comprar.
